Me too. Best thing I won was a small statue of St Vianny. My teacher was Sister Vianny and she auctioned this little statue - AND I WON!! I was 8. :D I still have it :cool:

Our school had a ride-on mower. It was a convent school, and one lunchtime the gardener had left the mower in the middle of the school field where everyone was laying out on the grass having lunch. Some bright spark set the mower chugging round all by itself! The deputy headmistress (a nun) was called and came running out with her skirts tucked into her knickers, jumped onto the random machine and steered it to safety! The applause was deafening !!
