It's a terrible thing to have to bear a broken heart. Poor Vin, you must be going through Hell at the mo. I used to think my heart had been broken many times, until it was for real. I didn't know what hit me and I couldn't function normally for weeks. I cried all the time, was irritible, got ill and eventually thought I'd got over it. And then I saw him again and it just set me off again. But there's a happy ending to MY story - after about 9 months we started seeing each other again! There's a song by Reef which summed it up: 'Been down, but I've come back brighter'!

Can't understand ppl who don't eat - or FORGET to eat - Eating is such an exciting thing to do - all those new things to try all the time, and keep revisitng all the old favourites too .... trouble is, the metabolism doesn't keep pace with the appetite lol

I used to sing in the choir at school - we did weddings and stuff. Then I learnt to play the guitar and sang with that too. I have sung (and played) in great places, and in Europe, and have taught the guitar to lots of people ........ but I'm really not very good. It's amazing what you can get away with if you have the balls and the smile! :lol:

Toad in the hole - spot on Bangers and mash - ditto Spotted dick - an incurable disease (no I'm kidding lol) doughy pud with raisins! Bubble and Squeak - sounds like its name when it's cooking - any leftover vegetables (traditionally carrots, Brussels sprouts and mashed potato) fried till it squeaks and served with cold meat and pickles Cock-a-Leekie soup - he's right! Leeks and ..... wait for it .....CHICKEN!! I love cheese and potato pie. Layers of mashed potato and cheese, topped with grated cheese and stuck in the oven to melt and brown for half an hour. Lushness!

I live in Bloody Bristol - which actually is really cool! Lots of music here, history, culture and stuff, and anyways my house is here lol :lol: Teaching here sucks though. They all seem to be leaving and going into sales or something :shock:
