  1. I think you meant 2.77 mate. Also, I'd prefer a link that has what changes this version has. Similar to this site.
  2. uTorrent is really the best way to go. Fully featured and under 200kb in size. It's very low on memory compared to Azueus.

Thats alright. And as Dave S mentioned, you are able to watch Real files if you install Real Aternative. This means that you won't need Real Player at all. Also, you can install Quicktime Alternative and you can play quicktime files without needing to use quicktime.

Like a screenshot of a still frame in a video? Well I highly reccomend using Media Player Classic. It is made to look like the old WMP 6.4, but it is modern and has lots of features. It a lot let bulky than WMP and is easier to use. To take a picture of a video, go File>Save Image.
  5. I personally hope that neither Blu Ray or HD DVD wins and that they will fade into obscurity. We don't need another format, and we don't need another few players in our homes. I have a feeling that Blu Ray will win, and only because it is included in the PS3. But then again, the PS3 is not looking that great atm, so we will have to wait and see.
  6. Its called normalising I think, and alot of audio converting/tagging type programs can do it. I don't know any offhand, but I'm sure someone can help.
  7. Heh I think victaniac got the info from me a while ago and I got it from elsewhere on the net ;) . URL Snooper is a realy nice program and quite helpful. HiDownload although it as great at downloading streaming stuff, the copy I have is really buggy. Hopefully there are other good programs out there, but HiDownload whould serve you well. Btw, the links to the programs are: URL Snooper and HiDownload.
  8. Basically, you only really need the ffdshow codecs. It covers pretty much everything (well not quicktime and real, but you know, jsut get Quicktime Alternative and Real Alternative for those). I havn't had to install any codecs for a long time. Also you can use VLC Player. I've never used it but apparently it has codecs built in. I still gotta check it out.
  9. I've heard they are great games. I've always wanted to play one because I only ever hear good stuff about them, but I havn't had the chance.
  10. You don't need a special CD, you just need a converting program that you can download. There are loads of them out there, but you really shouldn't be doing it unless you really need to. Oh and don't convert to wma... it isn't that great a format.
  11. It is possible, but you shouldn't really do it unless you want to use a song that is in a format that a portable player doesn't recognise. Remember: Everytime you convert from one lossy file format to another, you are losing quality!

Can you give more details? What is the actual virus name?
  13. You should do the scans yourself. I don't think those two programs do it automatically (well I think Adaware does if you buy it). Make sure you update the definitions so the programs are up to date.
  14. Unless you want to make an mp3 CD you should not convert from one lossy format to another. You are going to lose quality on the way. If you use nero for burning (and I recommend it) you can get a plugin which allows you to burn rm files. Get it here
  15. If your computer isn't ancient (more than say 8 years old) then this shouldn't happen at all. I would say that you might have a virus or spyware problem. Make sure you scan your computer for viruses and use Adaware and Spybot Search & Destroy to look for spyware.
