The Surreal Life!
I watched that season, only because there was nothing on Sunday afternoons and I had nothing better to do. Wasn't the worst reality show out there, much better than the same ole same ole on Survivor or shit like that. :)

So does anyone here enjoy the fine art of Wrestling??
Well, it's entertainment. And if it entertains you, as it does me, then it's doing it's job. Plus if you did not manage to get out of a powerbomb, say from Kevin Nash, or the Undertaker or the Big Show, I am sure your back would hurt just as much from a 9 or so foot slam to the mat. ;)

What is your current most hated song??
I like the Jessica Simpson Video, probably cuz I'm male, even though I hate the song. :D What annoys me right now is Candy Shop by 50 cent. 'we're going to the candy shop You can lick my lollipop' x 100 Yes. Yes he is a great lyricist. Truly.

Yeah, Ultimate Fighting is good, but I will still watch wrestling. :) So what did everyone think of RAW last night, the homecoming episode?

Wow!!! Did everyone just see HHH take out Flair?? Kinda sucks, but will make it interesting. I miss having Flair as a good guy. I mean he's good when he's bad and he's good when he's good too. Can't wait to see what happens. :)

Yeah, I like him too, and a bunch of the other guys, Benoit, Mysterio, Taker, Orton. But face it, Smackdown is the graveyard of wrestling. I predict TNA is gonna start kicking their ass if they ever get primetime coverage. It's WCW classic meets ECW hardcore meets WWE in its prime. I would rather watch a Jeff Jarret meets Raven match then have Triple H be the champion for another 3 years or however long. Totally unfair that he is champ all of the time. Oh he might lose it for a week, but he gets it back and then back to boring land. lol

Homecoming has been pretty good so far. I actually wanted to see Shane McMahon kick some ass though, lol. Or bring out some new wrestler, or old pro we haven't seen in awhile. How awesome would it be if Bret Hart or Sting came back for a few matches. Oh well, at least we got some of the pros back. And Matt Hardy is gone again. :stunned: That is gonna suck, especially if he goes to Smackdown., Anyways, back to the show. :D

So does anyone here enjoy the fine art of Wrestling??
Well the way it goes is the wrestlers are given the outcome of the match - so it will be so and so is supposed to win. A few suggestions are made as to what they want to see, and what will be used ie tables or ladders or nothing or whatever. The rest is left up to the wrestlers' discretion - what moves will be used, what they say on the mics and so on. Like when they lock up in the ring, they whisper things like - I'm going to do this move, and then you do this and so on. It is fixed, but not completely fixed. But still damn exciting at times. And I still love it. It's entertainment. If you don't like MC, don't watch it. :)

Cool. Sounds like it was really exciting. The only one I went to was one from the early 1990s and it had Macho Man and the Undertaker. I would love to be in the front row, watching a RAW show or something. Or at a PPV. That would be pretty cool. The things these guys can do sometimes is amazing. My favourite move is the tiltawhirl side body slam or whatever you want to call it. I just love how they just zip around like that so fast. Though I also like the Frankensteiner. Loved when they did that too. :)

Yeah, those were great matches. They hardly ever do that sort of thing anymore. I would assume that is why the WWE's stock is tanking - mostly because their television programs are tanking. They take no risks anymore, and their is hardly anything worth being excited about anymore. The only thing I look forward too is the return of Mick Foley, Stone Cold and Hogan tonight. And for Stone Cold vs Hogan at Wresltlemania. That should be a great match. ;)

So does anyone here enjoy the fine art of Wrestling??
lol Yeah ok, maybe not a fine art but it is entertaining sometimes. I used to be a WCW guy through and through. Steiner Brothers, Sting, Flair, Buff Bagwell, NWO. The Four Horseman were my favs every time they came on, in any incarnation. Fabulous Freebirds they were awesome too, in their day. ECW was really cool too, but now these two great companies are gone and we are left with little IMO. I am finding lately that the WWE is getting quite slow and boring as of late. No real stars left, Except for Ric Flair, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and a bunch of others. I always liked Benoit, but I think it was a huge mistake to move him to Smackdown. Smackdown is where wrestlers go to die. And the program has not been exciting or at all interesting since the first month of the first year. I can't stand watching it, and only flip there when nothing else is on, even then, I keep flipping because it just makes me feel sorry for all those guys. As far as recruiting new talent, Chris Masters looks to a good showman, as does Carlito. But other than them, who is there?? What'shisname, the guy the Big Show fights like every single week. Some of these guys are so forgettable it isn't even funny. And don't even get me started on the boring ass women's matches. God Almighty, save us all!! Lately I have been watching TNA. Good stuff. Good talented players there, and they put on one hell of a show. The no-name TNA guys put the WWE guys to shame right now. TNA is right too, Total Non-Stop Action. It's great. If you aren't watching TNA, I suggest you do. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. So these are my initial thoughts on this thread. Does anyone else out there watch any?? Please share your thoughts, I would like to hear them, and maybe even get some good debates going. Thanks for reading this far. :)
