I loved this track almost immediately. The beginning is a little raised eyebrow, then it settles quite beautifully. Spanish Rain/Strawberry Swing is kind of what it reminds me of.

When Arcade Fire appeared on SNL, just before the launch of their album, they had a TV special that aired right after. We know Coldplay filmed the LA shows for an NBC TV special...

Saw someone on twitter mention the shows are for NBC. Kinda makes me think of the Arcade Fire special that aired after their SNL performance, maybe Coldplay is doing something similar?
