GET IN!!! DARIUS AND THE CRAZY FROG CAN GO SWIVEL!!! IT'S TAKEN 8 LONG YEARS, BUT I AM SO GLAD THEY WON'T BE REMEMBERED AS THE BEST BAND NEVER TO HAVE A NUMBER ONE SINGLE. I'D SAY BEING TOP OF THE US & UK ALBUM AND SINGLE CHARTS CONFIRMS THEM AS THE BIGGEST AND BEST BAND IN THE WORLD.... DO YOU AGREE?!?! (Sorry for the CAPS, but i wanted to shout it out!)

Tell me about it!!! And thinking about it, that night really did change my "musical life". It was my first gig and really got me into live music. And also, you have to see Coldplay live to appreciate them fully. It says a lot that i probably only knew 5 or 6 of their songs (and wasn't a fan of theirs), but that concert was so good. To enjoy music you've never heard before is quite amazing (especially for me who is rather fussy!!) I doubt i would have been into them as much as i am now if i hadn't have gone along that night.

Slightly different one here........... My song? Just The Way I'm Feeling by Feeder That song got me into Feeder.... who were supporting Coldplay in Manchester for the AROBTTH tour.... so i went along to see Feeder, didn't really like Coldplay..... but Coldplay absolutely blew me away!

Odvan... did you seriously say exclude Fix You???? I am amazed.

Is this Apple who focus heavily on Itunes........ and Coldplay who look like they will have a phenomenal 4 way chart topping domination this weekend of both the album and singles charts in the UK and US (plus pretty much every other country in the world!) I would suggest that being the biggest band in the world (i don't think people can deny that anymore) means that every company wants a piece of them!!!

I'm guessing that by using this song and the tour....... Coldplay will have made this guy for life!! Fair play to him!!

You can't compare the drummers voice to the lead singers!!! Chris has a better voice........ like Will is better at drumming!!!

Oh my god.... In my Place made me sooooooo reminiscent!! With Chris mentioning how long they've been away, took me back to the past concerts, thinking about all the time in between........ and i pretty much cried! AWESOME.

It was obviously never in doubt........ but after the likes of that damn crazy frog and darius it's always nice to secure a number 1. We just need a number 1 single now to put those damn demons to bed!!!

I wouldn't read too much into the setlist... that's pretty much the whole of VLV... i'd guess they are practicing all of them, but will be looking to perhaps replace a few each night with some older songs???

How strange!!!! You have to question the interviewer, going with the negative approach to the songs, meanings, lyrics etc was wrong. Typical Chris.... the most un-cool, un rock & roll walk out of all time!!! He even explained that he "didn't like it" and ASKED if he could have "a couple of minutes" !!!!! Don't worry about these people Chris. We love the album, the masses will love the album and you guys clearly love it.... that is all that matters.

I can't answer this!!! Square One and Life in Technicolor are awesome! So are What if and Cemeteries Lost! wins v White Shadows Fix You has to win v 42... just Talk v Lovers... grrr i have to go with Talk for that riff, but i don't like having to pick! Speed of Sound just beats Yes, but only just A Message beats Sleep Chant (i'm using that as number 8, makes my decision easier! VLV and VH win easily Have to go with Swallowed in the Sea over Swing, but it's another hard one! DAAHF & Escapist win to leave the result as.... X&Y = 5 VLV or DAAHF :-) = 5 with 2 tied I am happy with that result. Awesome albums, awesome songs, awesome band!!!

Got to start with Life in Technicolour now........ but should still include the classic openers Politik and Square One. Should include Yellow, Clock, In My Place, Talk, Speed of Sound. HAVE TO FINISH WITH FIX YOU. Then Lost! VLV, VH, Death and all his friends and whatever other newies they want!! Personally would love any of Amsterdam, Warning Sign and A Message.

Well Done Boys.... so proud. It's been a long 2 1/2 years or so...... and as ever the pressure on you guys is stupidly high. Somehow (and it sounds like it's been a struggle at times) you have managed to concentrate on the most important thing... the music. The album (after only 1 full listen) is such a change from what we've heard before. Some people may not like that (lets be honest, the biggest and best band in the world could keep producing the same old stuff - but that's the easy way, it's just not Coldplay). For many it will be a difficult listen. So many sounds, songs in songs, slow songs, fast songs, slow and fast songs... even parts of the same song at the start and end!! But at the end of the day it is another fantastic record. At least 4 or 5 of the songs are up there with the bands best material. The tours this year are going to be superb. I cannot wait.... even if it is another 5 months for us poor English folk!!! But to finish, i am so proud. This long journey started for me as a Coldplay-hater (sorry to admit it). I went along to a concert with a friend to see the support group (outrageous when i think back!!!)......... that night changed my musical life. Coldplay, guys, we are so proud of what you've done. The English boys who made it big. Even when you're losing, you know you're not lost. :-)

Has to be the album version. It is a classic Coldplay album, it's the new Fix You and the lyrics are superb!!!

I was someone who hated X&Y on the first listen... and didn't listen again for a few days... but came to love it. Really like the new album. Love LIT, Lost is awesome (a good old fashioned Coldplay anthem!!!), Lovers in Jap is great... i prefer the album version to the acoustic. Yes is different and very good. We all know Violet Hill is amazing... same for Viva La Vida. And Death and All His Friends is a great way to finish. So many differnt styles in 1 album. Such a mix..... it may be hard to listen too.... but at the end of the day its.......... So damn good.

Chris has said that we won't see them for a long time. In the interview afterwards Chris said that people have had enough of them and they have.......... and that they are going to be gone for a long time. I don't think we will be seeing them until next year guys................ ............. he was a bit drunk though i think!!!!
