I've just watched the Today show from yesterday morning in NYC, and i was struck by just how happy Chris looked. We all know he's an energetic guy on stage, but it seemed like yesterday he was a young boy living his dream and loving every minute of it! It's great to see him get lost in his music and give so much :-) Am i right or was it nothing out of the ordinary?!

Guys... wondering if anyone can help. I have 4 tickets for this gig (Saturday night) with Jay-Z. My best mate has now got tickets for the friday night and i'd like to go with him instead. Tomorrow guys!!! It's been a long wait....... ok, well i did go to Paris to see the boys for the most phenomenal concert in September..... but it's still been a long time and i can't wait for tomorrow! Got a nice long drive ahead, but will all be worth it!!! Rather excited right now!

Nearly time guys......... the real waiting game starts now!! Oh how nice it would be if these lovely sites realised they were selling near enough 100,000 for the biggest band in the world at Wembley this morning... they may then sort out their sites!!! Or maybe they will claim "exceptional circumstances" as usual?!

I don't think it's possible guys!!! I already think that the boys are past "Greatest Hits" standard. It would have to be the Anthology Part 1..... and even then it would be difficult to narrow it down. I'd like them to keep it real... accept that they are what they are and that everyone owns all 4 albums and not faff about with an un-necessary greatest hits. They don't need to do it. Every concert sells out and every album is the biggest selling in the world whatever year it is released now....... add to that the royalties and i see no need for a greatest hits.

I agree with all the posts........ EPIC is the coldplaying.com agreed description of LIT ii!!!! All the versions i hear that people have created are superb! The music alone was good enough to be the opener of the biggest band in the worlds album....... they have now improved that, added some cracking lyrics and Chris' superb vocal ability comes in to play again. I cannot wait for this song. It is so hard to pick a favourite Coldplay song........ but this could be it. Such an uplifting song. I've been playing the versions that include the preview in my car the last few days... pumping it up loud and belting the lyrics out! Makes my spine tingle thinking about hearing it live!!!!!!!!!

Has to be "that part" in Amsterdam......... we all know the bit.......... it makes my spine shiver.

Truly the worst version of such a great song ever! Chris struggles with his vocals at times because the songs are so challenging......... but he NEVER just yells a song like that clown did. I can't wait to hear this!!! The current instrumental version is superb and a great concert opener...... but i am confident the new version will be even better!!! This is the 3rd incarnation of the song..... the guys must really rate it.... so i have full faith that it will be superb!!

I can agree with that!!! When i arrived home in England 24 hours after the gig my clothes were still damp........ don't worry, i wasn't still wearing them!!! That arena was stupidly hot!!! You can see by the photo's of the guys... they are drenched. Imagine being in the middle of thousands of people and jumping around going crazy all night!!! I was pretty de-hydrated by the end.... could easily have passed out with exhaustion!!!

Me and my friend randomly decided in July that we wanted to go to Paris and thankfully Camille was happy to sell me the tickets for no profit and send them to the UK extremely quickly. I've just arrived home in good old England....... what a gig! My 4th Coldplay concert....... but first ever time outside of England. WHAT A NIGHT. Amazing set list, great crowd......... so glad all the pics, vids and reviews are here because i don't remember a great deal.......... 10 pints of beer and a lot of crazy jumping that nearly killed me probably the reason for that!!! I must say.... i really enjoyed being English and knowing every song word for word when a lot of those around me understandably didn't always know all the words!!! What a night!

I'm glad they haven't been nominated. At the end of the day, how ridiculous would it look if they presented Coldplay with a cheque for £20,000!!! They wouldn't even turn up for that much!!! And the first line of one of the articles says it all....... "The biggest band in the world..." The Nationwide Mercury prize is not meant to go to the biggest band in the world... that's not the point of it!!!

Too late now..... it was only number 2 last week when we finally got our deserved number 1!!! No longer the greatest band ever to never have a number 1 single!!

well at previous gigs i've had feeder and richard ashcroft supporting.... so it will need to be someone good to live up to previous acts!!

Hi there. Can any french fans help. Me and a friend have tickets to see Coldplay in Manchester in December, but are considering going to the above show.... just because it'll be different to see them in another country!!! A few things i'd like to know. 1) Is livenation.fr the only place i can get tickets? 2) Are they doing standing tickets in Paris (unlike the UK gigs) 3) How easy will it be to get from the eurostar station in paris to the arena? 4) Can anyone recommend any hotels near to the arena? It will only be an overnight stay, so the cheaper the better!! If anyone can help at all, i would really appreciate it!

The BBC artical is reporting this, but i don't think the Album is number 1 in the US yet as it was only released on thursday. Can anyone let us Brits know when it is announced?? Lets be honest, i'd expect it to make it the all conquering quadrouple when they do announce it.
