  1. Well, if you're looking for a keyboard that majors in piano sounds, and you have a flexible budget, I'd suggest the Yamaha P-140. I have one. It comes with a pedal, 3 different types of piano sounds, 3 elec. piano sounds, as well as 7 other sounds (synth pad, harpischord, string bass, bells, and a couple others). It has the full 88 key scale as well, and you can do a lot of neat things with it such as adjust the sustain and tune the keys up or down or merge 2 sounds. Here's the link: http://www.instrumentpro.com/P-YAMP140?PHPSESSID=f423f3dcdfcf122817af93459
  2. Alright, now before you ask, here's the song file (in m4a, sorry): http://rapidshare.de/files/15730267/The_Scientist__Storytellers_.m4a.html Okay, so I'm wondering about the tuning of the Piano for it. I have a Yamaha P-140 and I fiddled about with the tuning and was surprised to find that it sounded quite like the storytellers version, so I'm looking for the full tuning. I have the A's and G's correct but not the F's or C's or D's. If you listen to the song where he plays the last chord in the riff, there's that noticable jump between the A's and G's as well... How do I achieve it? Thanks for the help, and sorry if I didn't make it clear.
  3. Is it 4th, 5th, 6th, or do you put a capo on 4th and play all of them? Thanks in advance.
  4. Guitar, since I already know how to play piano. I'm slowly learning guitar though. I taught myself how to play the piano and now I'm teaching myself how to play guitar.
  5. Come on in and discuss the concert! I'm hoping they play Daylight or Amsterdam or See You Soon. I'll be taking a bunch of pics with my camera phne (RAZR). My seats are to the immediate right of the stage, about 10 rows or so up.
  6. Just change the F's to E's and you have your chord.
  7. in a nutshell, this is what you need: VHS with the 3 coloured plugs Capture Card (Google them or find them at The Source or Future Shop or Best Buy, usually just above $50) Plug VHS cords into receiving cords on the capture card, start capturing (with the software the card comes with), and hit play on your VCR.
  8. Doesn't matter, it's the full thing, and the correct thing, which is what he was asking for.
  9. http://www.8notes.com/coldplay.asp Amazing site, I learned most of the songs I know from there. They're all perfectly accurate.
  10. Oh snap! Seriously? That's crazy! :o
  11. Nevermind, it's for The Scientist. If anyone can find that sketch of the wierd thing for "The Scientist"s song cover in desktop size, please post it here.
  12. I need the picture, where it has the ROBTTH "goat man", but it's half submerged into the ground. Can anyone help me?
  13. The whole idea seems dumb as hell...
  14. And don't be retarded and download any .exe file that people say is a song. Yes, some people are actually that stupid.
  15. http://www.8notes.com/school/riffs/piano/coldplay_the_scientist.asp Cheers.
  16. Yeah, you're gonna need some codecs. You should download QuickTime and try playing the videos in that instead of real.
  17. It sounds like a Snare now that i'm listening to it.
  18. In My Place and Shiver were the first ones I learned. Apparantly Dont Panic is quite easy as well.
  19. I believe the main chord (like the none he plays about 30 times) goes like so: C#,F,G#, and the low notes that you play once or twice in between are C sharps. I'm sure you can figure out the key. Thats the basic one, but yeah.
  20. Just learned ALL of politik on piano.
  21. Yes, but I think it sounds wrong
  22. Wait... he deleted the files 2 months ago yet you're complaining to us NOW? Where the heck is the logic behind that?
  23. No i can read notes fine its just on sheet music it takes me a long time to convert them.
