no its not a new thing, but it didn't used to be too much, as it is now. the mix has nothing to do with it.

this whole 'too much movement = great performance!' idea they've got going on. no. if anything it just subtracts. they don't sound spot on musically, and chris sounds out of breath and it just makes everything so shitty, not to mention destroying yellow with the weird bird-whistling(?) thing.

tix aren't sold out though...lulz.

MEH. I like Jay Z and all, but his other collabs are wayyyyyy better. Mr Carter =<3. I don't think they've got that great of chemistry when it comes to collaborating, nice try and all but no.
