lol - I'm sorry for that, scientific explanations spoil everyone's imaginations, I should've known that before ;) quite interesting theory! But I think, that's hard to prove, 'cause you won't remember how 'slow' time was running when you were 20. And there's no objective measurement for the subjective time (sounds paradoxical, huh?) - well, as far as I know, though. ;)

Ist euch eigentlich schon mal aufgefallen, dass spät nachts auf MTV eigentlich die besten und exotischten Videos laufen? Heute früh (gegen halb 4) als ich nach Hause gekommen war, hab ich noch ein wenig ferngesehen und dann das Video von 'The Arcade Fire - Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)' gesehen - ein sehr cooles Video zu einem noch cooleren Lied :D Und ich glaube, ich hab nachts mehr Coldplay-Videos gesehen als tagsüber lol ;)

Nö - aber Streams laufen bei mir generell so ab: 30 Sekunden laden, 10 Sekunden abspielen, 20 Sekunden laden, 10 Sekunden abspielen, 20 Sekunden laden.... und so weiter und so fort :/ Tja, was soll's, man kann nicht alles haben, ne? Yeah, I notice that, too! I watched in TV some time ago, where some scientists were trying to explain this 'effect': The older you get, the more years are stored in your memory. And it's a kind of psychological effect that the more years you have in your mind the shorter they appear to yourself. Well, I guess, that was it. A pretty plausible explanation, isn't it? ;)

no... especially this stoning is going on especially in remote regions where the people don't care about laws, but blindly follow their religious leaders. They're motivated by their religion, not by the state. Plus every religion has endless interpretations. Some might say stoning people to death is allowed, some not - but everybody thinks, he's right. That's a problem of religion in general. agree and agree.

You're talking about examples like that - in my example the virgin's dying, in your demand to the western world the freedom of speech is dying. If the muslims are allowed to stone adulterer to death, the western people should be, too? The christians say "Don't kill" and stuff - but why are they still allowed to kill people who did minor crimes? Shouldn't they accept "our" rules in return? If every "religion" or hemisphere should resepect everything else's rules everywhere would be chaos! that's no argument - the law during the third reich saying to hush political enemies wasn't hard to follow, as well - but it was still stupid and unlawful (speaking of human base rights) - just like this religious rule we're speaking of. sidenote: I don't wanna compare hitler-laws to the islam and stuff, I just wanted to make this point as clear as possible.

And what if their religion demands to sacrifice a virgin every month and they'd be allowed to do that in their country... would you say, we should accept that too and allow them to do it here as well? It's the same scenario - maybe a bit exaggerated, but still people's base rights are restricted by foreign RELIGION!

The western world shouldn't accept NOTHING which was written down in some stupid, overaged books (despite of the geneva convention and other int. legal stuff, maybe). I don't want to comply with heavily restricting rules of religions I give a shit about. And by the way: Religions/societies respecting other religions/societies is still utopia. Past showed us, present shows us and future will show us that!
