a quite a while a go was listening to Triple J radios' impossible live festival and they had an excellent live Coldplay set from Splendor in the Grass Festival. The crowd was roaring and singing along. my sister gave me that name when she was little- around 2 she couldn't say my name so kekita stuck as a nickname. pero quizas me preguntastes eso porque se oye latino- disculpeme mi espanol esta muy mal no lo practico mucho :embarrased:

Apple is a nice name and the reference is great too apple is what gave human kind wisdom eve was not going to be in the dark she was gona go her own way. or they Chris and Gwyen may just really like apples. At least they didn't name her Ondina like my dad was about to. Chocolate would have been a nice name but yeh andrea you would had a hard time at school especially at the canteen :D

the penguins has given me an idea you can have David Atenborough ( how do you spell his name the animal documentry dude) talking about penguins and they are floating on icebergs- the beautiful scenery will be shown in different shots and angles to a coldplay song dont really which but lets just say X and Y. Then you suddenly notice its an iceberg with four black clad penguins but wait .. no its the band playing. i really don't know how to end it though... or something will whales Johnnys guitar sometimes remindes me of a whale song like in X and Y and some of their earlier stuff in Parachutes.

People in the music business will convince Chris to kick start a solo career and ditch the others umm whats their names. His first single will be slammed for sounding like Coldplay and Charlotte Church's sixth album. He will end up playing piano in a gay bar Guy will be in prison for computer hacking Johnny will move to Finland and join a death metal band Will will continue to be the remaining member of Coldplay :wink3: * ok before i get clobbered- this is just a joke to show how unlikely the event will be, i have faith in them and their love of being in Coldplay*

Hi ive been checking out this site for quite a while. Its great and i keep on checking it regularly for coldplay news. well finally got the courage to register. i must say ive enjoyed reading some of the posts like the picture caption and world music. thanks to all those people who have posted mp3 music files etc. and sharing your musical tastes. I've been to their 2003 tour in Melbourne Australia and i had liked them before but i was hooked then- i respect bands who are great live!! i have listened to X&Y so much that my sister is scared of me and Fix You is stuffed up - it goes slow then fast just at the part where all four of them sing :embarrased: :x :bigcry:

oh and Kingsof Convenience- the song "Misread" is especially good great lyrics too. its sounds Brazillian like Bossa Nova

try james blunt- sounds great lyrically and musically on AOL, if your into something more heavy yet not too heavy try H.I.M a finnish love metal group- got great love songs-just they sing about death alot :huh: or try Nightwish another finnish group that mix opera like singing with metal= sound great.

oh just realised viva coldplay during that period Nueva Cancion was forming in Latin America In Cuba it was called Nueva Trova. Many artists of this music don't like to call it protest songs because they were not protesting against their governments eg. Chile and Cuba but were singing against injuistice and poverty done by outside forces. :blush: sori got a bit heavy there but did a paper on it for uni and i love the subject.

i dont know if chris martin said this - but i have always believed it to be true politics is in everything or related to it. so yeh music has always been political in my humble opinion. :)

WOW that's alot of power! they sound Metal or their singing does anyway. Old or new band? i've recently got into love metal and finnish stuff like Nightwish. Any threads for H.I.M. i think its great to have a wide musical range, after all that head banging a bit of coldplay always does wonders :D

yah spanish music i love cuban music like buena vista social club, sierra maestra. I also like Nueva Trova like Silvio Rodriguez- beautiful lyrics the Bob Dylan of Latin America in my opinion but with more musical range. Latin Jazz, Brazilian music. MOST of it really except Jennifer Lopez and stuff like that . And i love the way \Melbourne Band - The Cat Empire incorporate Latin Rhythms alright nuff said
