Pretty weak rumour imo. They throw out a random day just to give it some legitimacy and then they pick the one song title that we all know is pretty much guaranteed to be in LP7 (or at least the LP7 era). edit: What I mean by that is, it's been confirmed (by the oracle) that every era's associated LP has a song within its era with the same name. This is different than the 'colour song theory' which was debunked by the oracle so don't even play that game with me.

I've grown to use this forum as a way to get info and leaks and such. But as soon as I get my hands on the actual music, I stay away from the forum for a longggggg time to get out of the way of the shit flying. Appeal to authority, really now.... Anywho, it seems everyone is growing tired of our efforts. But again, i've tried the spiel era after era so I know the deal. There was nothing malicious about our intent. It was for the benefit of everyone. We were simply trying to increase the quality of posts as opposed to the quantity. But in the end you are free to choose how and when you post.

Thanks for the advert lol. The point of the facts thread is to give a summary of all the topics related to the new era. I, as the OP of the thread have and continue to try and go through the various sources to do so. The principle avenue in which I do this is this thread. It is very time consuming and annoying to wade through 30 pages of "I hope it isn't Mylo Xylotwo" and come out with one post that says something of substance I can poach for my thread. Again, you are right, we as more long-time posters cannot stop what you're doing. But we can also voice our opinions and tell you how counter productive and needless those posts are.

I might be blowing some minds here but ITS OKAY NOT TO POST SOMETIMES. If there's nothing new to report, then don't report it. Just because you have the option to post doesn't mean you should, especially when there's nothing worth talking about. I have a snowblower but I dont use it in July.

I really don't wanna dwell longer than I have to on the topic but I will add that I love to read good, well thought out opinions. For example, I singled out user KidA before for having very high quality posts. I don't have a problem with ppl voicing their opinions. I have a problem when multiple users (no one in particular) voice the same opinion for pages and pages based on extreme hypotheticals and backed up by a lack of facts. Technically, it isn't against any rules, and yes, its a messageboard to voice opinions, but fuck is it ever tedious to read the same thing over and over.

I think it just stems from you and I being here for more than 1 era and growing tired of the same formula. And this isn't some elitist thing i'm trying to say; that i'm better because i've been here longer or something. But as a matter of fact, I've been on this forum since X&Y and I've been through the LP4, LP5, LP6, and LP7 thread and they're all the same.

@Batman Y'know, I feel the same way. I wish ppl would use this thread only for LP7, and for actual news and such. But whenever I bring it up, I get hated on. Hard. "It's an internet forum for us to voice our opinions!" they tell me. But yeah, I wish I didn't have to wade through pages and pages of "I agree" and the same shit over and over again. Just know that I am sooo with you on this.

Agreed with Batman, it seems quite busy with redundant parts. Also would like to add that the wiki and main page look too similar. Personally, I'd have the wiki look more like...a wiki. I don't think the old wiki needed a massive overhaul, but instead a new coat of paint.
