u think so? i do see it as single material. of course its not an obvious choice since there are more upbeat and coldplay-like singles, however, to the regular and common listener, WS, SQ1, SITS, WI and the rest "just sound like SOS and talk". i dont think so, but regular people do. i've done it before. i play the album to people that arent colplday fans and they are naturally attracted to THP, since its sorta REM-like(in my opinion). so its a great people pleaser. i do agree with ya with the 5 single thing, x&y is a very good album and coldplay should have one more oportunity to receive recognition. :D
