Pre-sale is basically a sale before the sales go public. Not everyone can get into the presale. For CP's, you had to be signed up to In My Place, get the presale e-mail (if you were chosen), put it in the password at Ticketmaster and stuff, and buy it like that. I think usually people who participate in presales get pretty good seats.
