[2006 Coldplaying World Of Music World Cup] For 3rd place - Radiohead vs Muse
like they said the same in Beatles vs Radiohead and Muse vs U2 battles... what's the difference? it doesn't make sense to me. i mean, i definitely wouldn't say that many people here anti-Muse and etc i said somewhere before in a thread, that this tournament was basicly about to come to know about NEW bands...but after that Radiohead beat Elliott Smith by 30 votes, i gave up and said to myself "this WC is screwed up"...

[2006 Coldplaying World Of Music World Cup] For 3rd place - Radiohead vs Muse
well Nigel. you are keeping to generalize the Radiohead fans and call them "typical Radiohead fans", in turn you probably met only some of them and i definitely can admit that not everyone is like me (as you desribed me) and other TYPICAL Radiohead fans i'd really like to know what does typical Radiohead fan mean, and if we are at this theme what does typical Muse fan or typical Coldplay fan mean???

Al-Qaeda 'to avenge Israel deeds'
i disagree about that the western countries have anything to do with Al-Qaeda. although US might have a possible answer to the Al-Qaeda actions, if they really are going to avenge israeli actions in lebanon, knowing the american anti-terrorist aims

Al-Qaeda 'to avenge Israel deeds'
this is turning into a more serious conflict than i thought it would be

Al-Qaeda 'to avenge Israel deeds'
Al-Qaeda's deputy leader, Ayman al-Zawahiri, has said in a video the militant network will respond to attacks on Muslims in Lebanon and Gaza. The video was broadcast by Arabic television station al-Jazeera. Al-Qaeda could not remain silent in the face of a "Crusader war" and now saw "all the world as a battlefield open in front of us", he said. Events in Lebanon and Gaza showed the importance of the battle in Afghanistan and Iraq, he added. "The war with Israel is not about a treaty, a ceasefire agreement... It is rather a jihad for the sake of God until the religion of God is established. It is jihad for the liberation of Palestine, all of Palestine, as well as every land that was a home for Islam, from Andalusia to Iraq," he said. "As they attack us everywhere, we will attack them everywhere. As they have joined forces to fight us, our nation will unite to fight them. "The shells and rockets which are tearing the bodies of Muslims in Gaza and Lebanon are not purely Israeli. They are produced and financed by all the countries of the Crusader alliance. "Therefore, all those who have taken part in the crime must pay the price. We cannot just watch these shells as they pour wrath on our brothers in Gaza and Lebanon and sit back in submission." The statement is thought to be the first comment by al-Qaeda on Israel's offensive in Lebanon. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/5220162.stm

Texas family loses both sons to war
this story exactly remains me what happened/still happens in Chechnya (Russia)...with one simple correction: in Russia you have to face the military/army and it's only a matter or (un)luck where will you serve indeed sad though

[2006 Coldplaying World Of Music World Cup] For 3rd place - Radiohead vs Muse
overreacted reply is yours for Christ's sake, Nigel. i do respect other people's opinions (although i still don't understand how a radiohead fan can prefer muse over radiohead? ... haha but it seems it's only me) and only because i said Muse suck + you have no taste in music? both comments were sarcastic IMO i don't know how would you act if your band let's say Muse would losing in the similar poll let'sa say against...Kaiser Chiefs or Arctic Monkeys? although this competition isn't about who is the best, it's about who do you like more...but still, i would be really disappointed if Muse would beat RH in any poll... i didn't say anything when Beatles beat RH, because i do understand why did they beat RH. but seeing Muse beating Radiohead is very painful...and you know why

[2006 Coldplaying World Of Music World Cup] For 3rd place - Radiohead vs Muse
why (only) Radiohead fans? i'm fucking fed up with this Radiohead fans are bad guys talk the problem is that i've met/seen many stubborn U2, Oasis, Coldplay and REM fans for example on several forums, including this one... i'm highly suggesting to end the prejudices, because they are unfair agianst many people IMO. otherwise, you can call the Coldplay or U2 fans as well stubborn and generalize them as you did, because they do exist
