  1. this was my secret tactic, but now it's not anymore
  2. probably the same guys made HH vid? don't know http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shynola
  3. reminds me of Pyramid Song
  4. how did the fans manage to get the full version of it? was it leaked? when? who? it wasn't released officialy
  5. actually what is popular in Europe doesn't mean to be popular in US and what is popular in US might be not popular in Europe. i think only Radiohead and Coldplay made a huge fanbase in N.America since you all know who (Beatles). and don't prejudice the whole american music only with hip-hop. look into the past: Velvet Underground, Flaming Lips (they still exist by the way), Jeff Buckley, Elliott Smith, Bob Dylan etc. all those artists = QUALITY to me
  6. hmmm, yes i really enjoy/like Arcade Fire, Interpol, Sufjan, The Decemberists, Broken Social Scene or Animal Collective for example (they are all from US and Canada) but british? Coldplay, Guillemots and Travis (if they ever come back) maybe some other bands as well, though NOW can't really name some other. of course Brits have Muse, Franz, Kaiser Chiefs or Arctic Monkeys. but i'm not really a fan of these bands for me the quality is in N.America atm i think UK really needs big bands like Radiohead, Oasis or Blur. buti can't see them coming in the next few years
  7. i really don't care about the media anymore. all Putin's actions lead to a dictaroship. this is the onliest thing that he wants. Russia suffered more during the 90s with Yeltsin than Russia does now. and Russia has a very big economic potentiality. he doesn't care about the Russian citizens and their state of health (the natality is decreasing with every year) and that's the biggest problem now. there's a huge poor-rich difference now, what is no good at all. but as i said the situation has improved in the last years. Russia has much more possibilites than it had some years ago but hopefully without Putin and his people in the future. let's not start to talk about US' *cough* Bush's *cough* actions = sins
  8. this question is in my head since days already. and i can't find a clean-cut answer. the british music dominated the 90s, i think it's undoubtful. but does it still now? IMO the north american music has more prospects overally and i wouldn't be surprised if in a very very short time, they would dominate the world of music. but i'm still not sure. need some advices i guees thanks
  9. Russian music has some good moments Swiss' is crap
  10. i believe Putin does much less damage than Bush. the only problem with him is that he is building a dictatorship. who's trying to riot and speaks against him is quickly finds himself in the jail (see: Khodorkovskiy). Putin is a shifty and smart guy although the economic growth is impressive
  11. kay, Milan can play in the Champions League...now it's official
  12. i accept people's music tastes, m'lord IT'S A DAMN FUCKING COMPETITION, why can't i try to inlfuence people here a bit and make some sarcastic comments (though of course it doesn't work). have you ever seen me posting in the U2 thread saying "they fucking suck"? no, because i respecet their fans, including you.
  13. if U2 will win this, i will leave this forum for a long time, remember my words
  14. maybe because i'm at a Radiohead forum at the same time as well? that's the main and the onliest source of "shits" as you mentioned i'm not 24/7 online, the only reason why i'm being here more than usual 1. bands World Cup 2. i'm on holidays
  15. well, i thought i won't say anything about "typical" (haha lol) Muse fans, but they are starting to piss me off, so if i see another "typical RH fan" comment i will answer with something similar prefering Muse over Radiohead and being big fan of both is ridiculous in my eyes
  16. yes and i definitely influenced many people with that comment, didn't i? lol it was only my thought, jeez. it's a damn competition after all. why can't i make comments like that one and try to cheer for the band that i support? Radiohead are not in this poll, because RH's opponent got more votes in the semi = Radiohead would have no chances in this final
  17. try this, Christian ;) http://youtube.com/watch?v=IpdLSfsoK1g&search=thom%20yorke
  18. @ Paul i'm looking for proper lyrics of Amanda Cecilia (demo, not live version) but can't find anywhere. those which start with "saw you walking around through the old town" are definitely wrong in several places
