thanks Reilly ;) ,Steph and Briggins (you know why :wink: ) but i think i haven't deserved it :P and EVERYBODY who voted(or not),without you this thread would be on 5th or 6th page i think :uneasy: my cents : it's not a surprise that Coldplay won,maybe they're not the greatest but it would be strange if they wouldn't win at "home" :wacko: i'm glad that Beatles (who are maybe the greatest) are at the 2nd place :thumbsup: although i didn't think at the beginning they will make top 5...they were in a big race with u2 for the 2nd,U2 was leading at the end with 15-20 points,but the last 2-3 days changed everything.Radiohead 4th and Oasis 5th,i think no surprises here as well.Queen 6th (a very big surprise for me!).never thought that "a classic rock band" will get more than 100 points,anyway they really deserve it. The Verve and Mr.Richard Ashcroft are legends,but i'm not sure they would make the top 10 if Ashcroft wasn't touring with Coldplay (only my opinion),but deserved 7th place i'm sure. 8. Franz Ferdinand 84 points 11. Keane 78 points 16. Kaiser Chiefs 44 points 18. The Strokes 36 points i'm not sure these "newbies" should be on the list (heh,i voted for Keane :rolleyes: ,but i thought they won't get a lot of votes :confused: , without my vote they would be at the same 11th place...huh).they're talented,they're the future (or not,i think only Keane can make at least 3 succesful albums)...we know Kaiser Chiefs only for a year,Keane and FF for 2,Strokes for a bit more... but anyway,i think this vote proves this board has a good taste in music :thumbsup: i want to say a big THANKS again. p.s. : if somebody cares to make a similar thread next year,please do it.it will be interesting to compare the results :rolleyes: i'm sure we will see a different top 10 or top 20 thanks :wink:
