  1. in 2 weeks, it will be 1 year. i really started to post in the lounge around november i guess... yes, a swiss. though, in the first 3-4 months i was learning German with other foreigners. after i went to a swiss school, the start was very hard, my marks were terrible, but now they are getting better and i even got a nickname "machine" because of my speed, i suppose :P what kind of international school it was?
  2. really? :/ those b-sides are quite "yorkeish"...his own dark world.hard to understand them, if you ask me. i have listened to the previous ones twice and that was enough..............
  3. until it's your own decision then it's the right one ;) hard to say...it was really hard at the beginning...i was living in Budapest, Hungary for 6 years long till i moved here. i "lost" all my friends...hey, i was never a member of any msg boards before, probably i wouldn't even signed up if would stay in Hungary...ah, weird... now it's getting better with time, i can understand people, they can undestand me. but still...i really miss my Hungarian friends, it's not that easy to forget 5-6 years, you know...will take some time ;)
  4. this comment is much more tolerant than this = one of your first in this thread... i guess, we both learned from our "war" ;) at least i hope, because i did
  5. well, come on. i mean, shit i have to say this, "racism" and porn are very far from each other...generally, Turkish people get often offended because of other things...( i'm sure that let's say Swiss or Dutch members wouldn't feel offended if you'd make such a "dirty joke"). i can understand why they felt attacked, it can't be really easy to live in Europe and be Turk at the same time, but let's not go with this further....................... In terms of what? you felt your person has been offended and i've gone too far...but hey, you wouldn't go to court and sue me?? though, you behaved like you'd liek to do it...
  6. my mom married a Swiss last year Nov. ;) yes, in some cases you don;t have to go here either. but only if you are an invalid or i don;t what else...and like almost in every country, rich people's sons don't have to go, they are under protection...like war in Iraq, if you are a son of a governor and someone important, you stay at home... i can admit: i really am afraid of army, and not because of physical work or something, i'm pretty trained imo, so that couldn't cause a matter, but of violence...
  7. thanks for contributing, Nick ;)
  8. what about some misunderstood pictures which might cause all this fuss? i do understand that you don't have anything against Turkey and their citizens, but for some people it will be hard to believe it after that issue ;) yes, i can say the same about "our case" in the last 2 days...;) fair enough
  9. nah, people are terrible in army. they think if they are stronger than someone else, then they can afford to do anything they want...worse than jail, and i'm not joking. i'm really afraid of some of my friends who are 15-17 now and live in Russia, because they'll have to hide if they don't want to go (not too many want to go, obviously)...it's terrible i live in Switzerland :)
  10. don't run away if you start the argue! you would have never created a thread about turkeys, the birds, if there wouldn't be a little "argument" before that in the Turkey, the country thread. are you still tollerant?
  11. you don't realise that you made this issue bigger? not too many people here read threads in Turkish...those "sarcastic" comments in the "Turkey thread" would be invisible now and no-one would discuss "your and my too offensive posts"... but since you created a "turkeys" thread which was definitely a sarcastic one and would be in another time really funny...but not after you were told by mods/admins to stop to annoy some Turkish guys in their own thread. it was really disgusting to see you were making fun of Turkish people, because you were even if you won't admit it. i don't stand why didn't you leave the "Turkey/Turkeys" theme to die...it was unnecessary, in my humble opinion i can see why Julia sees some of your posts "anti-Turkish"...you shouldn't have continued then, i believe ;)
  12. what are you trying to prove? there's no mention about her in that post, i think that post directs to 2-3 persons, not more and why are you trying to involve more people if they are staying away from all this? i don't think more than 3-4 people should have been involved in our arguments...but it's another story...
  13. well, i can understand that. we have a similar system in Russia, though girls don't have to go btw, we have a terrible army...i don't even want to discuss it, it's really awful...many people die and getting beaten and the generals/government is trying to hide these facts...disgusting i'm living abroad, so i hope i don;t have to go...
  14. as far as i saw, she could back them up...you were too offensive in that Turkey thread, in my opinion, too you take her comments/attacks more seriously and call the more insulting because you and Julia were definitely in good relationship till she (maybe) disappointed in you...think about that, too... how did you disappoint one of your best friends on this board...
  15. good idea *goes and gets one from the fridge* :D
  16. nah, i'm afraid there will be consequences.............one day i don't think this "peace" changed our opinions about each other
  17. instead of saying i'm a Coldplay slagger, go here http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34294 and prove that you are a better Coldplayer...
  18. they are sarcastic, if you wouldn't notice. the insulting starts when you enter every thread and start to argue...don't think there's a need to lock them... i'm changing them now
  19. me slagging off Coldplay??? critic and hatred are different things. if you say i hate Coldplay...then you are really lost...they are my 22nd favourite band of all time yay! :idea2: i slagged off Gal, but i did apologise. i called crazyduckette useless and superficial, but it's not slagging off...i just had an opinion you are using mine too...
  20. hahaha no, you are, however was enough :laugh3: i'm pretty sick of this anyway. as the girls requested: we should hug and make a "time-out" are you in? P.S. of course it wouldn't change our "love" to each other but at least for coldplaying's sake?
