Yet ANOTHER gun massacre in a US school....
unbelievable that their government hasn't learned from the previous incidents... the black market should be more controlled imo, because i guess mostly this way is how the teenagers or even simple citizens get guns or othe weapons. also, the law of "weapon ownership" should be more restrictive as StarsKay mentioned above me. on other hand, the brutality of some American TV shows and PC games might lead to this violence, too. a lot of shows and PC games should be banned (!!!) because of unacceptable behaviour which influences the growing up generation... but since it's US, country of freedom, it's probably not even worth to bring up this issue...

Check out this site!
yes, it is. but their Music forum is much much more than only "a music forum on a fansite"... people there really are music specialists...from jazz and blues to pop and hip-hop. easily the best "world of music" section on a forum i've ever seen to everyone: even if you ignore/hate Radiohead, you should check the "music" section, because it's decent

Who do you think the students listen to?
NME's poll unearths most popular dancefloor fillers Arctic Monkeys' 'I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor' has topped NME's poll to discover the most popular student anthem. The Sheffield four-piece took the top spot, fighting off stiff competition from The Killers' 'Mr Brightside' and Kaiser Chiefs' 'I Predict A Riot'. Also featured in the Top Ten were The Smiths, Franz Ferdinand and The Strokes. NME's Associate Editor Dan Silver said: "It's gratifying to see that today's students are forging their own cultural identity by adopting the likes of Arctic Monkeys, The Killers and Kaiser Chiefs as their top anthems. "It'll be interesting to see whether those bands manage to have a lasting impact in the same way that Nirvana, Oasis and The Smiths clearly have. A student night still isn't a student without a dash of Morrissey, but whether we'll be saying the same thing about Alex Turner in two decades' time remains to be seen." The Libertines' highest entry in the poll, 'Don't Look Back Into The Sun', was placed at only Number 18, while the band's biggest hit and popular student anthem, 'Can't Stand Me Now', did not feature in the Top 50. There was also a low placing for Sunblock's student disco staple, the 'Baywatch Theme', reaching only Number 33, while the relatively obscure 'Deceptacon', by Le Tigre, charted at Number 28. The Top Ten is as follows: 1. 'I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor' - Arctic Monkeys 2. 'Mr Brightside' - The Killers 3. 'I Predict A Riot' - Kaiser Chiefs 4. 'Take Me Out' - Franz Ferdinand 5. 'This Charming Man' - The Smiths 6. 'Hounds Of Love' - The Futureheads 7. 'Naïve' - The Kooks 8. 'Last Nite' - The Strokes 9. 'Banquet' - Bloc Party 10. 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' - Joy Division

Where's Reilly?
you must also have better things to do than bumping all the threads which contain my or Mark's name... ;) yes, Rick you are too late, the argue is over, sorry
-
Where's Reilly?
it's in his right. i also dislike some people's posting style or whatever, sometimes i speak out, sometimes i keep it in myself...but hey, he brings some humour, mostly sarcastic to all this critic. i find it funny however, i can't change your opinion about him, you can't change mine. let's turn the tape ;)

This thread is for Gal (GreenEyes 88) because she is Lovely!
2 perfectly (Rus, Hun), 2 well (Eng , Ger) + i'm learning French but it's really at the beginning, so basicly 2 + 0,5 + 0,5 if everything goes well, in 2 years i'll speak 5 languages at a very good level, well, we'll see... wow, that's cool! i had the same impression at the beginning here, too. hehe, lol anyway, i have to go. was great to talk to you. i can't remember when i really communicated in the lounge...lol must 3-4 months ago... so thanks, Gal ;) good night all
-
Where's Reilly?
i say, let's not discuss him during his absent ;) true, i'm not a member here for a very long time and as you said i probably hadn't seen everything. but i can understand what he means under "spammers". if he does it in public or in private it's his deal. he's entartaing and the folk likes entartainment ;)

Radiohead
@ Marina, here's Jetstream from vinyl: http://download.yousendit.com/B80B466471E9D27D i don't think his b-sides are really accessible in that sense. they even would be "blocked" by EMI or other members of Radiohead...basicly, that's why i don't count The Eraser and it's b-sides as Radiohead work. because it's really different from all the Radiohead previous albums :/ you know, it's what Thom Yorke wanted to create alone i really feel many critics misunderstood The Eraser as they did Kid A when it got released...i think, in 2-3 or 10-20 years The Eraser will be more appreciated, at least it would reallt deserve imo. maybe it will even be a classic in 20 years? i don't know... i really feel The Eraser is very underrated and misunderstood by many people... lyrically, The Eraser is one of Thom's finest works ever
-
Where's Reilly?
yes, i got that one. i have an impression, though that you hate him and not those people who attack you like me, or at least you dislike him more than us=more me. because you feel he kinda influences me and others...
