RIP Jennifer/Nettie
I also, have not been on here in a very long time, but I wanted to sign in to say I am very sad and shocked to learn of Jen/Nettie's passing. She had a personality bigger than the Internet. She was always kind to online fans. I remember liking her more than most on the old Coldplay.com forum. RIP Nettie. You will be missed by many many people. You were angel sent to us for a short time and you made a huge impact on the world.

That is so awesome! I notice on your sig that the first time you saw them was in Albuquerque. That my first time too! Have fun in London!

Postcards from Far Away Project | FINAL UPDATE, go to COLDPLAY.COM!
I can't stop tearing up either...(I'm probably about 20 yrs older than all of you and feeling like a band nerd), but I love this touching feeling. If the guys even felt just a little bit of what the rest of us are feeling today, then I am satisfied.

Maybe the surprise was the new tour dates... Maybe there is nothing more....

Postcards From Far Away project | Previous pre-delivery discussion (thread closed)
True dat... Can't you guys make another thread for your incessant Jaffa cake obsession so when Debs posts, if she does, the rest of us don't have to read 20 pages of that to find it...???

Any word from Debs about how many more she has picked up? It would be cool to have a final tally when she actually delivers them! I sent my two cards yesterday. One homemade and one photo postcard.

Guitarist Joe Satriani sues Coldplay for plagiarism
Nothing like a good ol' law suit to spark a bunch of interest in Coldplaying.com! Just have to say to all the diehard CP fans...Don't Panic! Coldplay didn't purposely steal Joe's song... Joe's just being possessive and maybe alittle bit paranoid. As others have said here, it will probably be settled out of court. This isn't going to break Coldplay.

26-Nov-2008: Jobing.com Arena, Phoenix, AZ - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
I think the show was amazing, and I do agree that they all seemed tired, and as though their hearts weren't in it. In fact, for the second encore, I was expecting a second song, but just before they finished Yellow, Chris walked over to Jonny, said something then came back to the mic to say something like...'this is emotional for us, this being our last show in the US, we hope you'll let us come back next year..." so that was the end of the show. I am sure Chris asked Jonny if he wanted to do the second song, and they decided not to. The show was great, perfect technically, and every song sounded amazing. I was most impressed with Cemeteries Over London leading into Chinese Sleep Chant. The piano interlude at the end of Politik was amazing...classical and a little dark. Showed Chris' versatility of talent, his genius. I love these guys for so many reasons, and that's one of the main reason I love Chris. The crowd left alot to be desired concerning the excitement factor. I was very disappointed, as I know the band's mood reflects the crowd's... so, I partially blame the crowd for Coldplay's lack of energy. I had a floor seat, and was sandwiched between people who gave me weird looks for singing and dancing. I was a little pissed that I couldn't cut loose for my favorite band, due to the exasperated looks I got from my lazy "neighbors". Also, after the group song up in the stands, the crowd didn't hold up phones like other crowds had ( Roadie 42 had mentioned how impressive that was for the band in a few blogs...they even showed a video on the globes of other crowds doing it.) The first time I saw Coldplay in 2005 was amazing, and it was that performance, and Chris' energy that put me over the top as a fan. The second show I saw was in Denver in '06. They had just come back from doing an award's show in London, and they all had jet lag. I remember Chris was laying all over the stage that show, and barely did any chatting and joking. This Phoenix show being their last in the US, on the heels of the AMAs, and anticipating going home, again their energy wasn't great. It's a personal disappointment, as with both shows, I drove over 7 hours to see them, spent over $100 for floor seats, and the magic of the first show hasn't been there. It would be a dream to see them in some wonderful place like London or Paris, but I am considering not spending the time and money to do this whole road trip to see them again. I mean, don't get me wrong...I am fortunate to have seen them, and I do love them very much, they will always be my favorite band....just saying, as Ben Affleck says in "Surviving Christmas", "I'm feeling a little ripped off right now!" Hahaha Thanks to those of you who posted pics and videos. They are great! Soooo.... back to better reviews! xo

Hey! I'll be there. Coming from Albuquerque. I've got floor seats...anyone from PHX know how good a seat is triple A row 21? and row 38...how far from the stage? Also, since we will be there on Thursday...where is there a good place to eat on Thanksgiving? What will be open? Thanks for any info you might have! Yes, I am excited for the last Coldplay show in the US! Yeshe

[Denver 19th Feb 2006] Coldplay Warms Fans With The Familiar
Hehehe...My rough review from CPMB was in there! If I had known it would be "published" here, I would have made a better effort at writing a "good" one! BTW The crowd ROCKED!!! We knew all lyrics and sang loudly! And if you read the Coldplayer tour diary on Coldplay.com, Miller says the roar when Jonny sings during Don't Panic was the loudest he's heard yet. COOL

How you feel today?
Hi...new here...I have spent the last two months at the Coldplay.com forum. There are a lot of rude, cliqueish, selfish people there...Is it any different here?

Albuquerque Concert- a wonderful experience!
Laura, I was there too! Seeing Coldplay Live turned me into an obsessed fan! I took my 14 yr; old daughter, we sat on the lawn. This was the first show ever at Journal Pavilion where the crowd was actually watching and interacting with the band, not running to the beer stands thru-out the whole show! Everyone on the lawn was standing, dancing. I was pleasantly surpirsed by the crowd's reaction. If they come anywhere close to Alb. (like Denver, maybe) in the Spirng, I am there! I love these guys!

gwyneth pregnant again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well for sure the photo has been altered b/c Gwyneth would never wear a shirt with "Eat Meat" on it...and why would anyone publicly say the baby was concieved in a dressing room??? Sounds like someone's fantasy to me! They are married- they can do it anywhere. Can't believe tabloids..I'll believe it when it is announced by one of their spokespeople.
