  1. We as fans, all want to express our opinions...I knew before the release, I wasn't going to like this new album after hearing Everglow and Amazing day, but because I am a loving, loyal fan, I bought the album. I've listened twice. Not excited about it. :( Maybe it's time to move onto other bands, I say to myself, but no one other than Alt J are creating anything interesting, exciting or what my soul craves, so there's that. I might just give up on music altogether.
  2. Chris' voice is so much better than Bruce's...Just sayin'

so much denial in this thread...hahaha!

Not that my opinion has any cred here any longer...but I think it's true. For me, the proof is in his not saying a word in the previously posted video, when asked at the airport. He is one who definitely says what he's thinking/feeling, and to say nothing at all in regards to the question, speaks volumes. If it were a lie, I think he would laugh and say, "No, that's a lie!"...IMHO. EDIT: I think it's a good coupling, BTW. They both deserve some fun. Both were regular nobodies at one time in their lives who have sky rocketed to uber fame, they're both down to earth and funny. They have a lot in common. I approve. I like her better than GP.
  5. I think I remember you from CPMB...I certainly remember Sean and Scruff. Did you have to pay millions for this site? ;)
  6. This is sad news for the family. No one knows what went on behind the scenes, we all project what we wish to be true onto people we admire. I think things have been hard for them for a number of years. I always thought it telling when Gwyneth said in an interview years back, "“Sometimes it’s hard being with someone for a long time. We go through periods that aren’t all rosy,” the actress told Elle. “I always say, life is long and you never know what’s going to happen. If, God forbid, we were ever not to be together, I respect him so much as the father of my children. Like, I made such a good choice. He’s such a good dad. You can never be relaxed or smug and think, ‘I’ve got this thing.’ That’s also part of it: keeping yourself on your toes. I’m not going to take this for granted.” That was 2011 according to this site: http://www.freep.com/article/20140326/ENT07/303260078/Gwyneth-Paltrow-Chris-Martin-split-Were-the-signs-there- Anyway, it was a sweet fairy tale beginning, as all our love relationships begin. As their personalities emerged, past the fairy tale image of the two, I could see they were very different sorts of people. Their relationship was significant to them and their children, and will continue to be as it changes into something new. I have the sense they will be amicable, and do the right things as parents. They will come out of it just fine.
  7. It's great getting inside, Coldplayer reviews! How lucky you are to see them over and over again every era. Loved them since the beginning, but because of location and financial sitch, I'm not able to have these same magical experiences the rest of you are, so yeah, not gonna lie...I'm envious. It's good and bad that they've gotten so big, they don't even play in cities that are within driving distance of my hometown anymore. I've seen them 3 times in '05, '06, '08, so at least I've seen them live, but can't imagine how sad it is for fans in countries where they've never played a live show. So hey, Coldplay, when you're planning the next tour, try to think of the little countries, little towns, and the little people that haven't seen you a million times...;)
  8. There are more powers that be, other than just the band, who make these decisions. It is a huge conglomerate of interests deciding how they all can make the most money off Coldplay's albums. It has become a giant corporation. Those four guys are not the only ones making touring decisions, and even if they wanted to go to Latin America first next time, they aren't the only ones deciding that. It's nothing to be "worried" about. It is business. Bottom line.
  9. Well, I'm sorry for Latin America, but honestly this last tour was limited in many ways. They didn't play as many cities in the US as they had previously, and for those of us that can't afford a plane ticket to fly to NY or LA, and rely on being able to drive at least 5-6 hours to see them in Denver or PHX were screwed out of seeing them this time as well, b/c they didn't play either of those cities this tour. The closest to me was Dallas, a 12 hour drive or an expensive plane trip=no can do. The touring must take alot out of them. I know I couldn't do it over and over and over as much as they do. Glad they're taking time to live their lives with their families and children, and hopefully making more music.
  10. Does anyone know how far into the ceremony Coldplay begins playing? I don't have time to watch 2.5 hours... Nevermind. They begin playing around 40 mins in.
  11. I love her! They should have asked her to do the duet instead...
  12. The forehead to forehead scene looked awkward. Thank God there was no kiss...
  13. I wonder if Chris was pissed, he left the stage real quick. Lamest drunk crowd I've seen in a long time. I bet ya they won't play that festival again.
  14. So sad....that crowd sucks. Edit: But Coldplay will keep givin it. Awesome performance!
