  1. Don't Panic. That was so GREAT! (thanks for sharing!!!) Tearing up as we speak. Thanks for listening to your fans, Coldplay. You weren't predictable tonight. *muah*
  2. Well, I wasn't there so have nothing important to say except: Dear Coldplay, By the time you begin touring in the US, I hope you will have dropped Lost, In My/(Your) Place and What If from your setlist. I understand why you must always sing Yellow and VLV and Fix You, but please put something back in we haven't heard a thousand times during you last two album tours, like Everything's Not Lost, Amsterdam, High Speed, Warning Sign...IDK, there are so many others you might be able to share with the world now. Love you to bits and pieces. Your Old Fan, Yeshe. oh and PS: I wish you weren't so predictable. It makes me a bit sad. :(
  3. Seems the right season to play Christmas Lights Live...
  4. Oh he is so sexy, and awkward and adorable and I just love him to pieces.
  5. SNL is sadly not as funny as it used to be. I continued to watch last night, 'cause Emma Stone is great, but mostly because of Coldplay. I think both song performances were really stiff, it was clear that Chris was nervous, as he always is for TV performances. Chris messed up the lyrics on Paradise and if you watch at the end of it, he shakes his head. The Weekend Update skit though adorable b/c of Chris, wasn't funny, and the best thing all night was the crying to Adele. That's just my amateur review.
  6. It's a very different song from what Coldplay usually create. It sounds more like a Rhinana song, no wonder they asked her to sing on it. You can't blame them for trying a new genre of song. If you listen to it on its own and not the category of CP songs, it is a good one. It took me many listens to like it.
  7. Their cover of We Found Love is amazing. They bring love from a hopeless place to a hopeful place ;). EDIT: So great to see all the videos (Green Eyes!), pictures and read about everyone's experiences! :D
  8. I agree completely! I was so excited for this, even asked my painting instructor to stream it live on the projector screen during class, which he did, but then felt disappointed as it reminded me of VLV tour with a few new songs thrown in. I preferred the setlist at the beginning of summer when they had Shiver and Everything's Not Lost in there. I rather they go way back to Parachutes and RBTTH than just back to VLV for retro songs. I am so over hearing Lost and Violet Hill and VLV for that matter. I know they won't drop VLV, but drop the other two please.
  9. Awwww.....That's sweet! Great reading about everyone's adventures. No matter if you were in the most VIP or nowhere close to the stage, you were very lucky to have been there that morning. Thanks everyone for sharing your stories and pictures and videos.
  10. Honestly feel badly for them having to go through all these promotional performances and interviews.
  11. The video is so Coldplay. I am over the top happy that the "girl" video was scrapped and this one was released instead. It is much more original, as it has the quirky, touching, funny and personal feel of the band. And again, I find myself tearing up *why?* Coldplay has a direct line to my heart strings....
  12. That's so great! How lucky for you! I could tell you wanted to say something, but they didn't let you...what did you want to say? :p
  13. I just have to say: - love how Chris shot down the negativity for Axel Rose - his answer about people who criticize CP, and turning negativity into a positive for kids who have to deal with it everyday. - this whole Zen thing happening with Kung Fu Panda 2 - visualizing Guy in the bath - Jonny's sweet answer about we've only got each other - Will's steady and stable presence always Left with smiles and a couple of tear-ups as these guys are the greatest in more than one way. xo
  14. Hey who heard Will's answer to who he's is listening to right now?! Please?
  15. I believe I've heard him say that every time they've released an album since X&Y. It's his way of staying humble; not getting too big for their britches so to speak... Great article. And I am so glad to know they can still hop on the Tube and not be noticed!
  16. Their humility is so endearing.
  17. Congrats to all the African fans! This is a great thing to see, they're performing in SA! Are there going to be any live streams from any of these shows? And I agree with those commentors above: Chris looks so sexy in that photo at the airport! I love how he's pushing his own cart in the video as well! WooHoo!
  18. Obviously they loved playing for that crowd! Great ending.
  19. I missed it...when did he fall tonight? and how?
  20. Brazilians are sooo great! They know every word to every song! AW!
  21. I'd rather see a replay of Shakira than this...
