Marissa definitely can be very annoying. Her acting just makes me cringe sometimes (show some emotion, damn it!!!). I just rented season 1 on DVD, and I have to say WOW....it was soooo much better back then. Damn... It's like they aren't even the same characters...well, except for good ol' Seth.

Anyone heard of this guy? I saw something about him on TV and from what I heard, his music sounded very good. I am thinking of buying his CD.

More loyal and respectful in the U.S.? Hahaha! I don't think so, but I really have no experience anywhere else, so they might be. :D TV and movies aren't a great source for typical American life. I think since alcohol, drugs, and sex are still pretty big taboos over here (no matter how prevalent they are in entertainment), parents might be a little more strict because of that.

Don't make the mistake of giving up on something you want just because it seems difficult. And don't let other people make you feel like you can't change your mind because it's your life, not anyone else's. I really have issues with college as well because I find most of my classes to be pointless, and with tuition costs skyrocketing year after year, it pisses me off that I have to pay for electives as well as what is in my major. But whatever...those are my issues. The truth is that none of us know what the hell all this work is going to amount to in the end, so it's hard to keep a positive attitude about any major. I am constantly wondering if I should have stuck with biology as my major (instead of psych) because it might make for a more lucrative career later on...but it is kind of late for me to consider trying bio all over again. I say do what you're good at, but make sure you like it because there are tons of things out there to try.
