This is not true. It is a FACT that many women (real ones anyway :rolleyes: ) love love love gifts that are sometimes either inexpensive or free. Like little momentos. Real men are the ones who can make a gift significant by doing it at the right time and giving it some real thought. I have a stone (stones are free as hell) that I got once..and never lost sight of it.. because the guy gave it a meaning like no other. I won't say what ...but just letting you know it IS possible to not spend money and really give a good gift.. same goes to having a good time - minus the need for money!

I used to think I could't .. But now things have changed and I have places That I can go, and ways to do it. It's all in my hands..and it's a romantic idea...so You kind of have to consider things under a superficial veil

indeed. this is true for the most part companies (with big names ..some of them) really make an effort to SHOW you (through ads) just how wonderfully made their clothes are. and most of the time it IS true. But other smaller names do the same quality..only they don't blast it in your face as much. I have one pair of jeans from target...and they have lasted FOUR years. (I haven't grown sinnce fourth grade :rolleyes: ..seriously) I wear them at least once a week They fit me like a glove..and no seems have been busted, not loose threads...nothing. Just a tad faded from regular wear and tear. :smug: and I have jeans from Ralph Lauren...and they have lasted just as well as my others jeans! So this is not true..it's all in your advertisment filled mind!

whhaaaaatever... that's the biggest bull! When you put it on...and wear it..it doesn't matter. SOME brands out there, really are better quality..and exact form as brand names. Only they never had that populatity Ralph Lauren made for himself. So they are deemed inferior ..when actually, they are just as good, if not better.

I have honestly considered it. And I have the means. The will..so it's more like...why not?

Well, only for Queen. :D I have never really deep into heavy rock legends like Led Zepplin, Metallica, Ac/DC...and the likes. I mean, I love each respectively. And many songs have just blown me away. Like ... Black Dog. Or Communication Breakdown...many other songs too. No need to list em all :stunned: But that's just it.. It has only been one or two songs from the legends that have managed to catch my ear and entertain it fully. But what I don't understand is while I sit here listening to Queen, (Live At Wembley '86 ..Thank you bunches, Sniggirb/Briggins) :kiss: ...anyway, While I sit here listening to every track on the playlist of Queen... I can't help but feel the magic of Rock! Every sound and every snippet of voice being played is just...phenomenal. I guess this just my way to say that there is no way to say thank you to some things..things that really mean something to you, your heart and soul. I mean, I can say thank you to friends, or people who give me a piece of their being along the way of my life. But what do I do to say thank you to music? Besides buying an album or listening to the music...or spreading the love Sometimes it makes you wish you were Hindu and had a million billion gods to thank for every little thing..but even then, it's not a palpable thanks. How do you say thank you to something that gives you sO much joy!? IF nothing else in my day goes right in my day..and all has crashed, I can always tune into an album which I know can soothe me or raise my spirits. But I can't thank it for being there! (without looking like a maniac..kissing an album cover in thanks :laugh2: ) I mean, maybe in the same situation...a bad day...you could turn to a great friend to soothe you..and afterwards..thank them with words or a cup of tea. In this thread..I can thank Queen...and any music along the way for always being able to cheer my spirits. and also in this thread..wonder why somethings in life, just can't be thanked.
