Numero Uno: So ... at my work there is a break room with a cozey comfy couch. And a big fat ol big screen TV... many of the people that work there have brought in DVD's and movies of all sorts. Someone brought in the whole 24 series in DVD. I popped in the first episode and watched ..mmmm :thinking: about 30 minutes of it. So far so good. I suppose during my breaks, I will be viewing some more of it and I will see what I think of the rest. It will take me fooorever to watch it all. But what the hell. :rolleyes:

I have to get dressy sometimes, and then it's okay. But I do not actually feel comfy in dressy things. I wouldn't call myself a tom-boy...because I do appreciate the feminine side of dressing. I mean, I wear jewellery and cute shoes/blouses at times. When the situation calls on it. See, I don't understand how some people go EVERYWHERE dressed up! Like, make-up and fancy clothes and flashy stuff. I do that when its necessary usually I just wear plain, very plain things. Comfort is my goal. It's what I keep in mind when shopping, and picking out clothes to wear fot the day. Plus, also I keep in mind versatility and practicality. BUT not the extreme. I mean, you can have all those things^^ and still look cute. Not cute...nice. I usually wear a comfy pair of jeans, or pants. (courdoroys are :cool: ) ...my chucks (washed out blue and grey) a t-shirt....and strictly...NO logos or brand names showing real big. Most of the time, my tees are just plain colored shirts. Like, mmmm :thinking: those undershirts that guys wear..the white ones..but in colors. it's comfy, practical, but it looks alright. I wear tank tops alot...in many colors. all the time

"Yeah, same here...Bye!" *exchange akward hugs/kisses* If I could avoid these situations that I come across everyday...I would. They are just like, random scenes in a movie. Like, if they weren't there..I would not miss them.. I know many of you encounter them everyday...formalities. Saying Hello and Goodbye to many people. Some you may wish you never had to say anything to. But certain social situations bring you there. And at times, I could be facing a huge and ugly situation in my life...and basically, it could be like, the worst day in my life. BUT even still, If I see (an aquaintance or someone) on the street approaching me, I have to force a smile and have one of those forced and akward exchanges. And of course, I most usually say something like: 'I'm fine' or if it's a really bad day 'O You know, I am alive...you have to be greatfull' you know how it goes.... In anycase, I always end up feeling bad or worse because I feel like these encounters and the words exchanged are lies! Because no one really says what's on their mind to people when the greet eachother (unless it really is the truth, but most of the time..its too general to be true) No one says, "Yeah man, my marriage is on the rocks, and I think my wife/husband is leaving me...I won't get custody..." If you said something like that, the receiver of that news will prolly feel weirded out...So they really want lies or a very far off answer so as to avoid truths. I would rather know people's secrets, or the things that are really going on, you know, the truth? But no one says these things. I would love it if one day, when greeting someone...they would just spill it to me. I think then I would know that life ... is there. not lies.
