*more discussions* This is an interesting topic, really. Many things revolve around biblical event (historic ones). It is learned how the old old goverments ran and that sort of thing. I alwasy thought that was intersting

I guess I should say that I do think the bible is true..it's events, the meanings for me. And I get insulted when people mock/make fun of/insult the bible. I hated this one comment in particular that i overheard... some kids (ignorant ones) said that the bible was written by men in dresses and that Jesus wore a dress so they were asking why they should read a book that involved "crossdressers" that was mega insulting

This is true. It is written in many different ways. And literally, it is a masterpiece. It even has some parts that were meant to be musical. Like Psalms...they were said to be written in a way that they can be sang. (kinda hard to explain) And the titles of some books of the Bible are meaningful to the chapters and verses. Like Exodus ..which is talking about an actual exodus/exile. I think that even if you don't believe that events were true (historicallay, events in the Bible are true, and historians use it to date events) it's an exceptionally written piece of literature. And that is awesome because it was written by many different authors too. :wink: *Good topic, Jules*
