At one point, I just didn't understand that. When kids would have those like 98's and 99's on their tests (here we grade from 0 to 100) and they would CRY in class as if it was the end of the world. I thought...damn, but they got the highest class in the class, why are they CRYING? Here is some reasons why: They are perfectionist They have many pressures at home about being the best They study really, really hard for the perfect grade and when they don't get it: throw fits I mean, I hardly EVER picked up a book to study for anything and i got mediocre/and good grades for it. Or sometimes I would NEVER EVER study and get high grades and people would be pissed at me. (jealousy?) sometimes But when I started college, I understood what it meant to study study study until you thought you knew what the meaning of life was...and then you get to class to take that test you study so damn hard for...and it turns out you know nothing (prolly not even how to put on my shoes!) it made you feel dejected. So now I kinda understand what happens in those minds. I don't CRY about it..but I do get upset and wish really bad I could retest or something.
