Yeah, I would't say I have a deep " understanding" of arts and all the history bit. But I think that since there are so many types of arts and even more stipulations in each category of artists and their specialties... its hard to describe much more than " I like the way that looks" or " this kind calls to my attention" But I have an interest not in the history or maybe even the artists themselves...but more like..if the painting touches me in some way... then that is art. Art to me has to be something emotive. If it does nothing more than sit there, it's nothing to me. But if it makes me wonder and calls to me at each glance... then that is the type of art I enjoy. BUt I am neither good at it or anything like that. As in, I have artistic likes and dislikes, but no artistic qualties.
