sorta..there are lots of Crystals here in the states..but not many in Mexico..well the parts I vist. I think they did want a unique name for me..and they chose well...because origionally, my parents wanted me to grow up there in Mexico. But we moved after a some time there. and yes, Cristo is like a guys name...'Cristobal' is something people think my name is when they hear my family call me 'Cristo' but Cristobal is a guy name :confused: Some people like to call me crys/Chris...at first I dunno how I felt about that..but now, I wouldn't mind. sorta...my head was NEXT to the keyboard and my arm rested at an angle on top of the key board...I was writing a paper at the time...so there was page after page after page of pppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp's x's 1million billion it was only for maybe 20 minutes...but it was tons of pages..thankfully, I just had to delete those pages and my paper was still there. :)

Crystal...its fine in English...but when I go to Mexico...my relatives just call me the 'Christ' name 'Cristo' ...because Crystal they cannot pronounce the English way.. so akward! oh my! a sandwhich and and umbrella...you scored. When I think about his last weeks...well actually months..I think about this interview I heard of him...on a radio station, I really don't remember how I found it...but it was so painful to listen to I didn't even think they would air it. But they did. The radio host was asking him some questions about his life (of course) and every answer was so negative. Like, the guy asked him about his home town and he says..: I would rather not talk about it (not rude, just real sad-like) and then there was rumors about Elliott leaving the town he was in ..so he asks him why...and Elliott mumbles something about his old gal..and then not being able to talk about it...so sad. I hate for that to be the first memory to pop into my head, but it was so memorable, that interview.

Yeah, if you don't have a grasp of the language its self...the accents wouldnt make a difference to your ear. I know many ecuadorians and love to listen to the airy vowels and missing consonants... :cheesy: Salvadorian accents are like that too..their tounges are more light on certain sounds.... O and Spaniards TOOO so sexy! And Puerto Rican accents o my latin accents are cool.
