You never head of handball? :o I guess here it's more popular than ice-hockey and basketball... Well, yeah teams have to throw the ball into the other goal, but the players aren't allowed to enter the circle around the goal. But they have the possibility to jump in it. One of the best players ever was Stefan Kretzschmar. Here's a goal of him against Spain during Olympia 2004 in Athens. Maybe this helps a bit to find out what handball exactly is... ;) By the way it's one of the hardest games ever. It's very easy to injure yourself.

Hehe, ja den Strand hier quasi vor meiner Tür möchte ich auch nicht missen. Bin mal gespannt wie viel Sand hier durch die Sturmfluten abgetragen wurde. Momentan sind die Strände unerreichbar aufgrund der Überflutungen. Ich denke da müssen im Frühjahr die Bagger wieder anrollen und neuen Sand aufschütten. Ansonsten muss ich wohl im Sommer ins Freibad gehen... :dozey: Hm, da es so gut wie wolkenlos ist werde ich wohl gleich nochmal ne Radtour machen. Ansonsten muss ich auch schon mal für ne Klausur lernen. Abends werde ich Handball und die neuen Simpsons-Folgen gucken (mit Anke Engelke als Marge Simpson Stimme uhhh :D). Nichts spektakuläres also. Yeah, sure I'm watching handball World Cup! Great to be the host again, after the amazing football World Cup. Some games will also take place in Bremen. :nice: I also watched the first game on ZDF last Friday and although it wasn't brilliant I'm sure we'll reach the next round soon. Unfortunately our best players like Kretschmar or Schwarzer aren't in the squad anymore... Today we have to play against Argentinia. I will switch between handball and the Simpsons. :P

Schöne Bilder Sarah! :nice: War gestern Nachmittag bei dem schönen Wetter ebenfalls unterwegs, da ich ne Fahrradtour gemacht habe. Kann mir irgendwie Fahrradfahren ohne iPod nicht mehr vorstellen. :D Naja jedenfalls war ich noch an der Braker Kaje und hab ein paar Bilder von der Weser gemacht. Man sieht schon, dass etwa eine Stunde vorher das Wasser über die Mole gelaufen war... Uh, hab vorhin beim Chinesen gegessen und in meinem Glückskeks steht: "Einen Anfang zu machen ist das Geheimnis von Weiterkommen." :wink3:

Ja mir geht's auch gut... jetzt wo dieses Forum wieder online ist. :D Irgendwie scheint es, dass total viel Funktionen noch fehlerhaft sind. So richtig weiß ich nicht mal was neu gemacht wurde, außer das Online & Offline-Symbol... :rolleyes:

Sarah, you got a PM! :D As I promised, I just uploaded Mando Diao's concert in Berlin which has been broadcasted on NDR 2 two weeks ago for you. My personal advice is the live version of "The New Boy". It's fantastic! :nice: If anyone else wants to get this concert, don't hesitate to write a PM.

It's a shame! This new main train station and the redeployment of Berlin's route network had cost more than 10 billion (!) euro. How could this happen?! In an interview broadcasted by n-tv you can watch how this thing on the picture fell down behind the reporter. Well, Switzerland really has an extremely weather at the moment. Yesterday there were more than 25 degrees and on Wednesday the weather broadcast says they will get - 17 degrees.

Fortunately the storm tide wasn't as bad as expected to be last night. I went to the dike at 11pm and there were standing a lot of people looking to the water and everyone was calm. You only heard the wind and the waves. It was a bit spooky if I'm honest... Today you could see a lot of damages. Traffic-lights didn't work, neighbours of one of my friends lost their roof and another friend had to sleep in the main train station of Bremen, because all trains have been stopped last night. Now we'll get a lot of snow next week... Crazy weather!

First of all... congratulations to Steph, Kara and Nettie (sorry don't know her real name)! :lol: I think everyone here would really like to meet at least one member of Coldplay someday. It's sad that you both felt disappointed after meeting him. Well, maybe he wasn't in a good mood or something like that. But the last sentence Steph wrote is great... "but hey, still amazing to meet the man who wrote Amsterdam...Politik...Clocks...." That's the main reason why you should be proud of it! :nice: PS: I met Steph and Kara last month in London so I indirectly met Chris as well lol! :D :P

NDR 2 just say that the water will become 5,10 m higher than the normal high tide at 4:00am. That's a disaster! A lot of areas in Hamburg will be evacuate at 1:00am.

:D Was für Leute triffst du denn da immer so? Oha, NDR 2 meldet grad, dass ein Zug mit 180 Leuten bei Osnabrück feststeckt. Rettungskräfte sind auf dem Weg um die Menschen zu evakuieren. :dozey: Hehe, sag mal Lea, hast du eigentlich auch diesen typischen Berliner Dialekt? Find den total toll. :D
