Just came back from the post office... got my Champions League ticket for Werder Bremen - Real Madrid! :nice: :dance:

Excellent evening yesterday! First I watched the friendly-match between Germany and Rumania (unbeaten for 14 games since yesterday) in Cologne. Rumania led 1:0 after just 4 minutes, but then Schneider, Odonkor and finally Podolski with his dream-goal changed the match to a 3:1 victory. :dance: I'm so proud, because our coach set up 4 new players who played incredible, especially in the second half. A draw in Dublin next month and we would qualify for Austria and Switzerland. :nice: After that I watched the last 20 minutes of France-Scotland. One of the most exciting games I've seen this year including a big surprise at the end. ;)

:stunned: God, I guess students really plunge into debt in UK. Why is everything so expensive on your island? Lucky you! 110-160€ is very cheap compared to the money you have to pay here. What about food and stuff like that? How much money do you spend each month for your life? (Great you have the euro in Slovenia, too. Unfortunately I've never got a Slovenian coin so far. :dozey:)

The story above isn't the main reason why the North German broadcast (NDR) decided to sack her. In the past she often talked about the role of a woman in today's society. In her first book she is dealing with the principle stands simplified for the clear role division with the woman in the household and the man in the gainful employment. Due to these, she got a lot of trouble in the media, because people thought it's misogynic. Her mistake now was that people automatically think everything was wrong in the Third Reich.

Oh what a pity! So you haven't found something in Mainz or Kaiserslautern? :P What about your life at the moment? Are you still working? No each semester, so every 6 months! But that's not everywhere in Germany, only in a few federal states, especially in the Western parts. ;)

I don't really know what I should think about the titles. First I thought it was a joke! I mean who is calling a song "Leftrightleftrightleft"? :confused: I lie if I'd say I'm not disappointed about the fact that the album probably contains only 9 songs. 42 minutes isn't that long... But well, it's too early to discuss it I think. And on the other hands it's better to have 9 amazing songs instead of having 2 or 3 more songs which aren't that good. Mercifully it's also not the way the band see it, so I can't wait to get new information. ;)

Hm achso, AudioPod hab ich noch nie gehört. Ist das älter? Find das ganze mit Last.fm sowieso irgendwie kompliziert. Bin froh, dass es (noch) läuft. :)

Ja ist für iTunes. Ich benutze Last.fm ja nur über Winamp... Mit diesem iScrobbler kann man wohl Songs, die man irgendwo mit seinen iPod gehört hat, auf seinen PC zu Last.fm rüberspielen. Sowas hätte ich gerne, damit man nicht immer am PC sein muss, um seine Songs bei last.fm zu verewigen. Sowas habt ihr beiden nicht oder?

Ich muss unbedingt demnächst mal dieses iScrobbler ausprobieren. Benutzt das einer von euch beiden und wenn ja wie ist das so? Hab mich da bisher noch nicht rangetraut... Hab glaub ich eh noch ne veraltete Version von der Software, die meine Lieder scrobbelt. Da will ich nichts riskieren. :D

Jo last.fm muss bestimmt grad die Charts der letzten Woche zusammen basteln oder so. Nervig... :dozey:

One of my friends is studying in the Netherlands now and yesterday she told me that nearly everyone in Leeuwarden is saying something like: "I'm from Holland, where the fuck you from?" when anyone is going to introduce his- or herself. Does anyone here know this techno song?! :P Must be a big thing in the Netherlands! :lol:

Wusstet ihr eigentlich, dass nächsten Monat (22.10.) ein komplett neues Mando Diao Album erscheinen wird?! :nice: Sau geil! Ode To Ochrasy ist zwar erst etwas mehr als ein Jahr her, aber egal! "Never Seen The Light Today" heißt die hoffentlich tolle Scheibe. :D Erste Single wird “If I Don’t Live Today, Then I Might Be Here Tomorrow” und erscheint am 24.09. ^^ Haben die glaub ich auch dies Jahr bei "Rock am Ring" gespielt.

;) Mir hat mein Onkel damals mal mit 5 oder 6 ne Zigarette gegeben, weil ich unbedingt wissen wollte wie das schmeckt. Musste mich nach dem ersten Zug fast übergeben und dieses Trauma war bis heute dafür verantwortlich, dass ich es danach nie wieder versucht habe. ;) Hm na gut in dem Fall ist es vielleicht anders, aber ich meinte eigentlich, wenn es das gleiche Fach in mehreren Bundesländer gibt, dann würde ich auf jeden Fall in das günstigere Gebiet ziehen, egal wie schön die andere Stadt oder Bndesland ist.

Hui, und wie hast du es geschafft wieder weniger zu rauchen Sarah? Ja zum Thema Studiengebühren ist der Föderalismus schon gut, das stimmt. In Bremen musste man ja ganz am Anfang erst noch Studiengebühren zahlen und dann kam glaub ich irgendwie raus, dass das Geld nicht den Universitäten und Fachhochschulen zugute kam, sondern damit andere Haushaltslöcher gestopft wurden. Danach wurden die Gebühren wieder abgeschafft und so viel ich weiß, soll es erstmal auch dabei bleiben. :D Ich mache meine Studiumwahl nächstes Jahr auch davon abhängig, ob ich Studiengebühren zahlen muss oder nicht. Sehe es nicht ein Geld dafür zu zahlen, wenn ich irgendwo anders nichts dafür zahlen muss. ;)

Hmmm also ich war dagegen, dass jede Kneipe selber entscheiden soll, ob geraucht werden darf oder nicht, weil der Besitzer in der Brasserie selber Kettenraucher ist. :D Ach ich finds eigentlich ein Armutszeugnis, dass jedes Bundesland selbst entscheiden darf bzw. muss, ob öffentlich geraucht werden darf oder nicht. In allen Ländern ist das durchsetzbar. Irland hats vorgemacht und in den Niederlanden ist ebenfalls striktes Rauchverbot, nur in Deutschland kann es wieder mal nicht einheitlich durchgesetzt werden... Schon traurig meiner Meinung nach. Sarah, ich wusste gar nicht, dass du (gelegentlich) rauchst... Oo

Ja, schon ne dumme Idee solche Räume einzurichten, aber ich glaube das ist den meisten Rauchern dann auch eh egal. Ihre Lungen ruinieren die doch eh... Zum Glück ist das nicht mein Problem! Bin halt nur froh, dass ich nun von dem Qualm geschützt bin. Kein Passivrauchen mehr, keine stinkenden Klamotten... Ein Paradies! :D Ich frag mich, wieso sowas erst im Jahre 2007 durchgesetzt wurde...
