read what yet another member posted HMV is advertising to its costumers that a coldplay cd/dvd is coming soon.. Oct 24 a salesperson told this member. i think EMI is playing some kind of twisted joke on us fans HMV is a large professional Canadian Music store chain, i doubt they would lie that the DVD is really.from Coldplay. HMV was advt coldplay very promently when X and Y came out . they had huge x and y banners so i think it is out on the 24

Well the albums not out yet.. it will be in two days, however i downloaded it and i think its a really good album... some of my faveruites are "Revelations" "Wide Awake" "Sound Of A Gun" and "One And The Same"... "Wide Awake" is a very good song, its about hurricane katrina.. im definty buying this album on tuseday when it comes out

at first i thought that sounded wrong that sheet music you posted but after playing it alot of times it does sound right.. that will be changed.. also found a video showing how to play fix you on piano exactly.. i wil type out the correct chords quickly

yes Eflat lets you play notes a half step lower.. for sure it makes a diffrence.. however if your in standard you just play a fret over to the left.. arltertivly you can use a capo if in E flat.... (to go to standard) obivisoully you cant go to far or it will sound terrible (say the 1st fret) but from 5 in standard to 4 in Eb is exactly the same note!... i don't doubt youve played this song 100 thousand times live.. not for one second.. i did an enitre thread search and theire is only like 2 or 3 fix you tabs on this whole thread and it dosnt show one by you... or even a complete one for that matter (piano, interlude) if i can find il give it a try but it dosnt appear to be anywhere... oh and i dindt come here to start a fight... so,... please calm down

the acoustic is.... in all respects it donsnt matter so much since Eb is just a half a step down from standard.. so a fret to the left... so from eb to standard, jhonnys solo would be (eb) 444444444111111 then to (standard) 55555555121211212.. etc... guitars work in half steps... a note on a certian fret will be the same note higher up and to "improvisation" dont think your right all the time.. and ive read alot of these tabs by "kapone" on this thread and most of them are very accurute... taken from the book.. but you see, you have a habit of making changes where thier not needed... the offical book makes very small mistakes and if thier is one you can tell beoucse it only off by a very little you can tell what is supposed to be played.. as well as watching videos of them preforming live, exept that they play things diffrent sometimes... also remember that their is more then one "way" to play a song... but their is a wrong way as well... but accutally try it carefully before saying it is wrong... and yes i will make my own thread thank you very much, where every tab will be as accurute as possible... thank you.... oh and im not a "nub" ive been playing guitar for 2 years self tought with some baisci theory ass well as at keast 4 years of piano lessons/theory/practice...

OLP ive been listening to the new Our Lady Peace song "Angels Losing Sleep"... i dont know if its just me but i swear i hear the bass riff from the Coldplay song "Ode To Deodorant"...... its kinda hidden in the song a little bit its in the begging and the middle.. its just the bassline in "Ode To Deodorant" is very unique and i think Our Lady Peace defintly uses it in that song.. lol
