  1. Well done Evelien :nice:
  2. Ok so short review cause I'm not really good with them. I don't know how I managed to get the second row considering that even if I queued up from 6.20 am there were already a hundred people in front and then many more passed me by on the way to the main stage (which was more or less 1Km from the entrance), add that a few people were already there before anyone else and you get the picture and how I could be more than happy with where I was. I couldn't wait to to hear the new songs live, and they were even better than listening to them from the Rock Am Ring, I'm so in love with Charlie Brown. Best moments where Politik (as always, it's my favourite song and it never fails to be amazing) and Life is for Living, the live version is epic and I was on the verge of crying cause I've always wanted to hear it live. I'm quite happy with the audience reaction to the new songs and old as well, Every Teardrop included. So the gig was great, and Chris was in top form with his voice, he sang better than last week for what I could hear. Still I have a feeling they were not that into it, or not as much as in Germany, maybe they were expecting more people (I was too to be honest, but the period and the other headliners were a shame and a lot of people decided to wait for the proper tour), add to that the fact they probably were more looking at the clock to be sure they were not missing the flight (and I don't understand why on earth they had a flight so close to the end of the show, I can understand they prefer to go back to London, but jeez, I don't think it's the end of the world if they stayed overnight at then flew to The Netherlands). I don't know if it's because I waited for so long to see them playing in my hometown and I wanted them to feel like at home and that everything was perfect for both us and them, but I have this bittersweet feeling that it wasn't as much fun for them and this gig is waaay down in their virtual "best gigs" list, Guy was basically not even there, they could have put up a cardboard figure of him and it would have been the same, and who knows me well is aware that it's not easy for me to say this. Yay for my negative side, it's alive again! Will post more pics later on, some came up quite good in the end :)
  3. Just two pics for now Us against the world Viva (of course)
  4. I really need to start working this morning, I will hopefully write more when I get home and post some pics as well (though I'm really not sure if they're worth posting, it was almost impossible to take any as I was pushed from basically everywhere, not in a bad way, but if you can't stay firm with the arm you get a blurred pictures fest :P). Just reading around tough, as much as the people really enjoyed the gig, almost everyone was let down by how they didn't even say goodbye at the end. I've read the blog and I saw it was just because they had to catch the flight, but 99,9% of the people there didn't, so I can totally understand how they tought the band was coming back again, especially because we stayed there for other 5 minutes trying to calling them back even when the lights were already switched on and the roadies were on already on stage. I was in the second row and saw Chris taking a mic and say something just when he was going away but the sound was switched off and no one heard anything, not even us there in the front, so yeah it was a bit of a meh moment to end the gig like this :\ Leave you with some pics from here and a short video from here :)
  5. good morning from the park, it's not even 7 in the morning and we're already more than 100 people
  6. Hello mud in the park, I knew I was right with my advice for wellies :awesome: I think it's nearly 1 Km from entrance to main stage, I know I'm gonna be short of breath in the middle as usual :disappointed:
  7. Denise replied to Pris's topic in Coldplay
Is Jonny the only one who has never tweeted now? :surprised:
  8. Does this mean 13-17 males have better taste in music than 25-44 males? :P
  9. Your best bet is Venice, even tough it's not the high-water season, they should still sell wellies :) The sun is shining right now but rain is forecast for the afternoon, again, what a freaking dull weather
  10. Those videos are not real HD as noted here
  11. Have your wellies ready cause there's a very very very high chance of rain, like 99%
  12. There is the Multimedia section for audio and video, and there's a specific thread for the Rock Am Ring here. That said there's no HD version available thus far.
  13. Yay I don't have to tweet anymore cause you're all going to be updated through the live blog :P I still haven't recevied the email either btw :disappointed:
  14. ciao, puoi guardare direttamente i topic specifici nella sezione dedicata alle nuove canzoni qui La sezione multimedia è dedicata solo ad audio e video :)
  15. Yup it's pretty clear, thank you :nice:
  16. He just sung it because it was raining, he did the same at the second Wembely gig in 2009, so that also excludes it could be considered a "new" song.
  17. and for what reason should that be included in the list?
  18. I found a pic where you can more or less see what's written under the radio tower..it should be Major Minus Media
  19. I was wondering the same
  20. Early in the morning, still haven't decided what time yet, I will probably wake up, look outside the window to check how the weather looks like and then decide whether to go back to bed or not :P Can't believe it's only 4 days away, yesterday's gig got me even more excited :bomb:
  21. That's what I was wondering too and thought the intro to Hurts Like Heaven could be called MX, a music only piece sort of like Postcards from Faraway, only played with the xylophone :)
  22. Hey Suzana, glad you're enjoying Trieste :D Don't think any meeting has been planned, unfortunately I work both tuesday and wednesday and tuesday I also have a birthday thing after work :(
