The rest of the fireworks worked without problem, no idea why they didn't use some of them for MX, but as lutzno pointed out, those were probably going to hit the roof and therefore they decided against using them. I hadn't seen any of the previous gigs' videos, so I really didn't feel like something was missing @eli_i i think the X is the best place, you have a perfect frontal view of the main stage and the visuals and the band is very close when they play there. Friends in the first row told me the main stage is really high and you risk to have one of the cameraman blocking the view of part of it

They're not soundchecking and the total time they'll be staing in Italy is 7 hours. They requested a special Piedmont dish (Piedmont is the region where Turin is located), and a cook will prepare it for them at the stadium. There won't be tickets available on the day, this decision was made for safety reasons as they were worried too many people were going to queue to buy them. Hotel rooms in the city are impossible to find and only some hotels located in the outskirts still have some available. Doors open at 4pm, box offices for will call tickets open at 2pm. And finally they mention the xylobands that will be given to the 40000 people.

You probably don't know a thing about the Chinese government, they banned the movie Memoires of a Geisha because japanese geishas were played by chinese actresses (read here, here and here)..not to mention Spies was not part of Parachutes in China because it could be interpreted to be against the government. And to be honest, if they were to do a Princess of Italy and then use a torero or a flamenco dancer, I would be pissed off, not because I hate Spain (far from it), but because it would show a lack of research about the culture of the country they were talking about in the song title.

E la band annuncia: “Vogliamo provare un ristorante piemontese” EMANUELA MINUCCI E’ ormai conto alla rovescia per il mega-concerto di giovedì sera all’Olimpico dei Coldplay, unica data italiana. La band ha dato il via venerdì scorso al tour europeo dal Dragao Stadium di Oporto per la prima di una lunga serie di concerti tutti rigorosamente già esauriti. Prossime tappe Madrid (20 maggio) e Nizza (22 maggio), prima di approdare in Italia. Su Ticket One «La definizione degli ultimi dettagli della produzione dello show - fanno sapere da Live Nation - permetterà di mettere in vendita alcune centinaia di biglietti laterali, posizionati sulle gradinate ai lati del palco e di soddisfare così una parte delle tante richieste che abbiamo ricevuto dopo l’annuncio della data torinese a febbraio e l’esaurimento dei biglietti disponibili in poche ore». Il cantiere, invece, si può dire che è cominciato già ieri con l’arrivo dei bilici di produzione. Si tratterà di lavori in grande stile, per allestire un palco-monstre (basti pensare che ci lavorano ben 27 aziende). Il personale coinvolto per assistenza-accoglienza-controlli e mansioni varie sarà di circa 600 persone. Gli ingressi I biglietti verranno controllati con le pistole a laser e poi il pubblico arriverà ai tornelli dove i biglietti verranno effettivamente strappati. Questo permetterà di non bloccare il passaggio tra corso Sebastopoli e piazza d’Armi, di regolamentare gli ingressi evitando la calca e lasciando le persone in coda in una posizione meno disagiata, ovvero sul viale alberato di corso Agnelli invece che sotto (l’eventuale) sole di piazza d’Armi. Per i possessori di biglietti «Prato Gold» ci sarà un accesso dedicato. Dei 40 mila spettatori che arriveranno almeno la metà arriva da fuori Piemonte. Per la gioia degli albergatori.

Si ma sono sicura che poi una volta dentro mi salirà l'entusiasmo (a parte durante PoC), ma a vedere la scaletta mi sembra una miseria...non vedo l'ora di leggere i tuoi commenti Basta che leggi la mia risposta sopra Se poi invece si fermano, devi provare a uno di quelli a 5 stelle più costosi, a Porto sono stati allo Sheraton (ma li sono arrivati prima per le prove visto che era la prima data), prova a vedere se ce n'è uno a Torino della stessa catena

Dunque, per l'orario a cui arrivare nulla è certo, visto che è la prima volta che c'è il prato gold. A Udine nel 2009 e a Venezia l'anno scorso gente è arrivata la sera prima. Poi a Udine, grazie alla gestione pessima delle code in prima fila ci sono capitate persone anche arrivate il pomeriggio, mentre a Venezia il palco era così lontano dall'entrata che chi correva veloce è arrivato prima di chi si è fatto la notte. Considerato che le file per prato gold e prato normale non saranno separate (almeno stando a quello che c'è scritto sui biglietti, l'entrata è curva nord in entrambi i casi), sarà difficile riuscire a capire quanti di quelli davanti a te (se arriverai e ci sarà già qualcuno in fila) hanno l'uno o l'altro biglietto. Secondo me non serve che arrivi estremamente presto, poi ovviamente ognuno vede quando è disposto ad arrivare. Per quanto riguarda l'hotel sono sicura al 99% che arrivano in giornata e ripartono per Londra subito dopo il concerto, come fanno di solito nella leg europea che non abbia concerti per due giorni di seguito. Orario di arrivo credo che sia difficile da sapere, forse verso ora di pranzo, a Venezia l'orario è stato quello.

Instead of picking on people who don't like this era trying to make them change their mind or feel they're wrong (which is not happening, not even with this blog, sorry but I don't think Roadie is the holder of absolute truth, especially on something so subjective) because they don't get the greatness of it, why don't you just enjoy it and stop thinking about us? I read, reread and translated this blog and I simply don't agree, mainly because for me changing doesn't necessairly mean to progress or evolution, it could also mean regress or involution. A change can be either positive or negative, for you it's positive for many people it's negative. This doesn't mean I judge people who do like where the band is now (good for them), which is what you're doing with people who think the other way.

Life in Technicolor ii, but it seems to be quite hard to find for a decent price, even though it wasn't "officially" limited as far as I know :shrug: Oh well, and the last one is the Up with the Birds/UFO 7" for Record Store Day, that's it, everything else was either release as a cd or download only

It's on tickets sold in Italy by ticketone.it by default. You're sure they're recording if you see banners outisde the stadium with the same message.
