Yea, I agree, I mean I did think of Coldplay instantly as a band that has been popular in the US, but of course they are not really rock at all, more connected to pop than ever rock, frankly. 3000 is a nice size indeed from the fans perspective :lol:

Hmm, it is sad really, rock music just isnt the most popular music in the charts anymore. Although these same bands always do well on the album front, I mean an example, Keane are number 1 in the album chart at the moment. I always think albums mean more anyway than singles!

Yea I think I remember a while back they was on Letterman? So thats good. Its funny because over here, there was such an explosion of popularity for them when their first album came out, I think because of especially the way in which they put songs on myspace and that sort of thing, but also because it was a 'proper' guitar band, a great british sound, a new generation I suppose. But now I feel like almost even though they are still popular, they are not really a singles band like they may have been on their first album, it feels like their popularity has levelled out. These are good too! You look like you were pretty close to the stage as well :D

Apparently there will be another shadow puppets album at some point, i remember reading a few months ago, I hope so. That would be interesting him working with richard hawley! Or maybe he could work with Josh Homme, seeing as he produced Humbug, or I might just be imagining that....I shall watch that video definately, soon.

I was going to see them on this tour, when they came around here last year, but it never happened, ah well, I'll catch them next time, they are a young band yet. Absolutely love Submarine EP, I would love for him to do a complete solo album at some point, it would be incredible. Humbug is great too, underrated for me. Initially I thought SIAS was their best album, my opinion of it nowadays has gone more negative, but I still think it has its moments.

Hey, its nice to see you in here! Haha, I love the arctic monkeys, I think Alex Turner is pretty much the only songwriter of his generation that I think is a genuine talent, I just think he will go on to do more amazing stuff.

I SO wanted to buy a ticket to one of these gigs, but I think I would be kidding myself thinking I could afford it, because I was pushing it buying the hyde park ticket :lol: and I had to think about in reality how I would have to travel a way to get to these, and then having to stay in a hotel or whatever. It would all add up to money that I just do not have. I'm just happy I am seeing Blur full stop really.

True! I never got a ticket for RH. :( I couldnt take part in the presale on WASTE because I was out that day, and then Ticketmaster wouldnt let me find the ticket I wanted. oh well, I will have to hope I get one at a later stage....I dont know. You are seeing them though?

Yea, it is annoying, lets just blame it on Blur :lol: its their fault. Thats the annoying thing about gigs, they always get announced when you least expect it or want it to go on sale :lol:

Yea I think the deal is you sign up on the website and then they send you an email giving you a code or website or something you can access to take part in the presale. I would LOVE to go to one of these shows, but I really doubt it somehow, because none of these shows are close to me, even though I could travel to any of them by train, but its more and more money which I really do not have. Oh lord :lol: I want to gooo.

So the rumour on facebook is that Blur may be doing a number of smaller shows in the run up to hyde park :wideeyed: But basically Blur's facebook page has asked fans to sign up to their website, and apparently they will get an email on tuesday with some sort of information! :wacky:

It would be pretty cool to see them on stage together, but yea agreed, cannot see it happening, no way. I want to try doing a list myself now.
