It's hard to rank them because like most will put OK and KA at the top, and amnesiac and HTTH are usually then near the bottom, it doesnt mean they are bad though hah.

They chearly chose to do it because they were intrigued to how it would result, and also they have te opportunity to get the album out to everyone at the same time and quickly. Also no doubt they are making more money from this venture. It isnt killing music because this method doesnt suit everyone, and not everyone will turn to doing this.

Its not just you, i agree completely. I even played the album in the car, and no way does Bodysnatchers sound anyway the same as it does on my headphones. It sounds good on my speakers in my room, but it feels unbalanced. I can really imagine Jigsaw like a song they play on the radio, it seems like the poppiest i have heard them for a fair while definately.

I love amnesiac! I listened to it earlier today, i don't know what i love about it, just so many great songs along with the method in which they recorded it. Well this is how i feel about their albums at this moment (it changes); 1. OK Computer (This is their 'classic' album, it just doesnt change) 2. Kid A 3. In Rainbows 4. Amnesiac (But i feel amnesiac and IR are pretty close in ranking, but ir as the slight edge) 5. The Bends (Amazing album too, i don't think it should have this low a rating, because i love it) 6. Hail To The Thief (I love this as well, but it did have too many tracks, and Thom's voice was not its best clearly, and the recording methods were not the most effective) 7. Pablo Honey

Hmm i think the album sounds in gorgeous quality, but it feels not so effective on stereo, where as it is beautiful on headphones. But then again it will be relishing to get the disbox (to those who get it) and hear it in that better quality, can't wait to get it. AND THOSE EXTRA SONGS, TOO.

Of course :heart: i will only rank it in a month's time, as to how i feel about it compared to the others. but atm it feels....no i can't :lol: i can't judge yet.

I fear videotape will become the 'black sheep'. so many people seem to dislike it, but then again can't judge an album this soon.
