Haha yea...newbie's are not usually treated nicely i guess....strange.

I need to listen to the albums again to determine the change...but i notice on alot of the b-sides his voice is particurly lovely.

I didnt expect Xl at all! But i like how they signed with a label that isnt one of the usual large labels

Well not to me anyway, because i feel most listeners will be concentrating on Thom's vocals because they are at the forefront of the recording.

It is not that bad, but it just seems a bit ......i don't know really, it isnt unlistenable :lol:

True, i like that last line, the world is very far from perfect.... Yea i see what you mean about the critics, in that they critisise amnesiac and kid a for being harder to get into, but i get the idea that critics talk about htth as patchy, even though they deemed it as a 'return to form' in some ways (more return to guitars etc). But yea i was a bit frustrated when one review of in rainbows said they were turning into snow patrol!

:) fair enough. I do hate all the HTTH hate too that you get on the messageboards and that critics know it as their worst, too. I think its just that people are too obsessed with comparing every new album to OK and Kid A, because of the major feats they achieved.

Obviously Radiohead.....but apart from that Sigur Ros :heart:
