I have a scar off my cat, but that's because I was holding her and she got scared by a dog and tried to run away, so scratched me quite badly accidentally my sister has some scars on the inside of her lip, where a dog bit her there... I'm not a big dog fan

Well no I agree, wife beating is far from funny but, I do think if the joke is funny enough, it doesn't really matter what the topic is, as long as it's not racist or something, like I said, I don't find the wife beating part of it funny, it's the fact that he is told to "listen to his heart" so he gets out a stethoscope and has a listen, it's a really intelligent twist on words.
