Wow, I just pulled an all-nighter.

Just got mine earlier. Made mine too, and it's been sent on. There are a few songs I recognise here, from the bits I listened to, so I'll give this a listen, and do a live review. 1. Oooh, sounds quite atmospheric. Shoegazey, even. Makes me think of a few bands. Does seem to plod a long, but somehow makes that good thing. 2. I love the melody in this song. Plus it's in 3/4 too, which is rather a nice time signature. Gradually building over time. Really, really like this. 3. Hmm, this sounds very good indeed. Obvious shoegaze track - I rather like where this is going. 4. I KNOW THIS FUCKING SONG. It's by a band I REALLY like, just can't place the name of the song. I know it's a b-side though. 5. Right, a live track. Focus is on the guitar here. Rather liking the vocals too, even though I'm totally not into this kind of thing. 6. Know this too. It's one of the best tracks on the album it's taken from, and that sound around four minutes in continues to scare the living shit out of me. 7. Ah, this makes a nice change. Bit more subdued. A little bit twee, even. 8. DRUMS. Very full-on track, this. Right up my street. 9. And we're back into atmospheric territory. Nice ambience going on. It goes places too. I like. 10. Know this as well. Can't recall the name of it at the moment, but I'm a big fan of the band. 11. Best unheard-of track on the thing so far. Beautiful. 12. Know this, guitar sound gave it away right off. The album it's taken from is one of the best released this decade, IMO. 13. More acoustic stuff, yay! It's an instrumental too. All good in my book. 14. OH MY FUCKING GOD, I LOVE THIS SONG. Already know it, 'tis fucking awesome. 15. I commend whoever sent this to me on choosing this song. Makes the perfect closer. I can place the band, but not the song. A resounding success, I say. 9.5/10. Thank you!

I'm not surprised you haven't heard of them, as they're not all that well known in the US and Canada. Don't let the clip of that first song scare you off. They're quite a diverse band. Not to mention awesome. :D
