  1. I nominate:  (Mark) :uhoh:  :waffle: :lock:
  2. What's the point with religion full stop? I had to. I just. Fucking. Had. To.
  3. *hums bass riff from 'If The News...* I fucking love this bannnnnnd!!!!
  4. There should be. And it should be While You Wait.
  5. VLVODAAHF = AROBTTH > Parachutes > X&Y ... Abstaining.
  6. I changed it because... well, I just did. :P But I still agree with that comment. To clarify on what I said, case people think I'm a militant atheist or some shit, I hate religion and personally think it should be done away with (the crimes our clergy got away with here because of their special status...), but people can believe in what they want, as far as I'm concerned, for I'm not a hypocrite, as far as religion is concerned (i.e. I don't do this: dislike a religious person for being over-zealous with the expression of their beliefs, then turn around and start an atheistic rant).
  7. THEY PLAYED READY, ABLE!? Needz moar YouTube, plz. EDIT: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcQAOfa__ro]THE GRIZ![/ame]
  8. Not religious. In fact, I am anti-religion, if anything.
  9. A promo is shorthand for 'promotional CD single'. They're only ever issued to radio stations, so you certainly won't be seeing this in HMV. Try your luck on eBay when the price goes down though, as more of these will surface. :)
  10. A shortened version of a single which makes it more ideal for radio play. Sometimes, the 'radio edit' is mixed differently too. Well, I basically want it because I'm an OCD collector-type person. :P
  11. And a Radio Edit? *wants*
  12. This is how it will all end. With control. The world's been going in this direction for years, and as conspiracy-theorist as it may sound, you don't need to look for for examples. It's obvious that society, governments and the economy will crescendo by the start of the 2030s.
  13. Albums leak all the time. Sorry to say it, but this really was inevitable. Quite an early leak, though. I think I prefer this to Kites. It has a better flow to it. Kites was this: Twelve songs that flow into each other, an extended suite if you will Two songs that, besides being left on their own (no segues), are both slow songs. Serious fucking downer to end an album on. No More Stories is better. Relatively less complicated, and their most accessible album yet. :)
  14. Needs to be protested against. Although I seriously fucking doubt our 'government' will listen. They do not listen to the cries of the ordinary people as our country slowly suffocates, buried underneath the mess that our politicians created. This goes far beyond the factors that helped to deepen Ireland's recession. Far, far beyond.
  15. :D
  16. The ending to Vaccine is brilliant.
  17. http://www.examiner.com/x-8928-Philadelphia-Atheism-Examiner~y2009m7d11-Ireland-passes-blasphemy-law I cannot find the words to express my utter fucking disgust.
  18. Best track on the album after three listens is VACCINE.
  19. Any chatterererers here? :)
  20. @ pwahahaha: I KNOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!! It really is that sort of album.
  21. Wow. Just. Fucking. Wow. This is why religion irritates me so much.
  22. Of course not. Just so long as if you listen to it, and like it, you buy it. :)
  23. I'm at the opposite end. I love how 'packed' the songs sound. The hooks are the strongest the band's written to date. I'm on Vaccine right now. I mean, that bass!
