  1. Have now acquired: Travis - More Than Us - Live In Glasgow Snow Patrol - Live At Somerset House 2004 And they are now coming to NZ!! They have bought electrical store 'Hill & Stewart' and plan to have 3 stores in Auckland and 5 overall in NZ operating by the end of the year. If they do CD/DVDs at similar type of prices they do in Aus, they are going to make an absolute killing given the ridiculous prices in the existing music stores.
  2. 'Hands Open' and 'Open Your Eyes' are singles.
  3. I did get that hard drive today. Also a couple of DVDs I've been after, inluding Travis - More Than Us Live In Glasgow that I'd been looking for for ages. $10 (about 3 pounds) so great price.
  4. Indeed. Ah that's right, you are in Auckland too right? Gonna go and check it out? I got a football match first thing in the morning anyway, my Dad is gonna go and check out the store early and I told him to get me one of those hard drives.
  5. Definitely get one if you can. I've got a 100 gb one, although it's full and I always need more space. There's this Electronics superstore opening nearby tomorrow and they are doing a 320gb one for $249NZ (about 80 pounds) which I think is pretty cheap so I might get one.
  6. Brilliant pics TLo. They wouldn't allow cameras in when I went.
  7. So they are all wma files? Easy. Import all of them into itunes and then convert them to mp3, then you are free to used them on your ipod.
  8. Me too. Got demoid invites to trade if anyone is interested.
  9. Oasis Travis Snow Patrol Coldplay Jet
  10. 12 Memories wasn't as good as The Man Who or The Invisible Band, but there were still some good songs to come out of it. Of the new stuff, I especially like Closer and My Eyes so far, both sound like a return to The Invisible Band days. Great stuff.
  11. If you mean getting music off your ipod and onto a computer or hard drive, then download a program called 'Yamipod.' Google it, it's free and a very good program that copies songs from ipod to computer, which itunes does not allow you to do. I've had my 4th Generation 40Gb Ipod for just over 2 years and no major problems yet. Only thing is the battery life is shorter now than it used to be and I'll probably need a new battery sometime soon, but that's to be expected with excessive use (over 2 hours a day on buses to uni every day for 2 years etc).
  12. On a recent tidy up of my desk that was in an abysmal state (hadn't been properly sorted out for years), I came across the mother of all embarassing CDs. Peter Andre - Natural Needless to say, it has been disposed of.
  13. Me too. Excited about the new album and really hoping the consider coming here to NZ when they next go on a big tour, which shouldn't be too far away.
  14. I'm 20 and my first was Snow Patrol last month.

Love the Shine On album at the moment. The only previous song I Knew was Look what You've Done, then a couple of weeks ago I saw Shine On on tv and loved it straight away. So went and got hold of the album and it's great. Oasis sort of style which is probably why I love it.
  16. I would say I have 2 really close friends. 1 is male and the other female. So both equally with regards to the poll I suppose.
  17. Oh cool. Whereabouts in Auckland are you? I'm in Howick.
  18. I live in Auckland. Moved here from England when I was 7.
  19. Nope, but Auckland, NZ.
  20. You know, I haven't heard that one before ;) haha Damn, lol my secret is out.
  21. Just got my copy of 'Good Feeling' today to complete my collection to date. Hadn't ever seen it in any shop here so finally managed to find it (at least a legal version of it anyway haha) on Trademe (NZ version of ebay). $3 NZ (about 1 pound), can't go wrong can you?
  22. Few of me then. Having strawberries and cream at Wimbledon on a first trip back to England (now live in New Zealand) in 7 years last year. Then standing beside the Eurostar about to depart for Paris on the same trip. And finally my best impression of Rodin's 'The Thinker' in Paris.
  23. JB Hifi is such an amazing store. Went on holiday to Adelaide recently and spent a fortune in more than 1 of their stores haha. Such amazing prices, a fraction of the prices here in NZ. Wish we had a similar store here.
  24. Program called "WinAVI Video Converter" is all you need.
  25. I've had 3 hard drives in the last couple of months. My original one died, so it got replaced. But the new one turned out to be faulty and lasted 3 weeks before dying itself. So now I have another replacement, which has last 2 weeks with no trouble so far. Did lose a few things from the first one but nothing vital as fortunately I also back up everything to an external Hard Drive, Ipod, flash drive, CDs etc (except of course my Travis B Sides I've had to request again on here haha). The most annoying thing is going through the process of reinstalling and downloading all the programs I use, and then updating them all again etc.
