Well, I'm an adept of this phrase: "Tell me the bands that you like, and I'll know what kind of person you are." I think i'd be much more intersted in a girl that loves coldplay than a girl that loves creed. But of course a creed fan could also be a nice person, so this whole thing is very relative...

There's only two thing that I look for in a girl: 01) She needs to have a nice conversation (Yeah, in my opinion that's more important than beauty) 02) She MUST like one of these bands: - Coldplay - Radiohead - Travis Cause anyone who don't like these bands cannot be a nice person.

Yeah, i heard that sometime ago (about 4 months ago), but after that nobody told anything about this, so i thought it was a lie... :? but now i see that the rumours were true, and that coldplay are not only a great band, they are great persons too. :)

Well, there's no special reason... me and my friends were searching for a name for our band, and we needed something different. So, we searched in a portuguese-german dictionary for the word "parasita" (leech) and then the word schmarotzer appeared. Kinda strange, huh?

Well, we only recorded two songs at our home studio, and we are still working on the final songs of our first album. It is called "Schmarotzer - Live At Guapi". here is the track listing: 01 - Peixes Abissais 02 - What's That Gas Coming Out Of The Floor? 03 - Pedreiro Assassino 04 - Bubble Boy 05 - O Homem-Salada 06 - APE 07 - H.A.T.E. 08 - Carrocinha de Cachorro-Quente Cover 09 - Roy, Janitor Molestor 10 - Oompa-Loompa Cover (Punk Rock Version) 11 - Estrogonofe Gelado 12 - Bonus Track The cd is half in portuguese, half in english. We're trying to be some kind of brazilian ramones. We make songs trying to put humour and rock together. But there's one thing that is holding our work, and it is called school. :x We can't record our first independent single till we finish school. (Thanks god this is the last school year!). Anyway, sometimes i'm sharing "what's that gas coming out of the floor?" and "pedreiro assassino" on kazaa, but it will be very hard to find em, since i'm the only one sharing them. But as soon as we record the album i will post the mp3s here. :D

Well, my band is going to be interviewed next month on tv, and i'm going to write "Maketradefair.com" on my left hand, and "Coldplay rulez" on my right hand. So, the tv show host will ask me what is maketradefair and coldplay. Then i will be able to spread my love for coldplay to a lot of people! YAY! :D

Well, both singles are great... but In my opinion, Yellow is coldplay's best song so..... Go grab the yellow single! ;)

hauahhuahu I'm green eyed too, and i love this song. You're totally right. This is the perfect song to sing to your girlfriends... And it is really easy to play on the guitar too.

My history with coldplay is huge: I first heard about coldplay in mid-2000. I remember i bought a local newspaper and there was a note about a band called coldplay and two amazing songs called yellow and trouble. I asked my best friend if he knew coldplay and he told me to listen to yellow and trouble. When i got home, i downloaded trouble and to my surprise, i hated the song. then i gave coldplay a second chance and downloaded yellow. Then i thought: "Wow, that song is much better. But i still don't give a shit to coldplay!". some months after that, the same friend that told me about coldplay gave me a brand new mp3 cd. There i heard their new song: in my place. And thought "Now, this song is way better than the other 2. But i'm not sure if i want to buy their cd yet." Two days later i saw the in my place video and the music got stuck in my head. Then i began singing the song all the time and finally thought: "Damn, they good! Maybe i should hear their older songs." So, i gave trouble and yellow a third chance and fell in love with the songs. So, i finally listened to the whole parachutes cd and thought: "Boy, how could i dislike this band? They're fuc**** brilliant!". After listening to the parachutes album for a month I finally bought a rush of blood to the head and thought: "Oh God! They're the best band ever!". Today I am one hell of a fan and everyday i have to listen to coldplay! Woaah! Excuse me, gotta listen to a ladder to the sun now! :D

I dislike Moses. I mean, the song has a lot of potential, but i don't like it the way it is now. Perhaps they could put a little more energy in the song. :shrug:

You guys keep complaining about canadian music, but you don't know how bad brazilian bands are. Just to list a few horrible bands: Sandy e Junior, Wanessa Camargo, Kelly Key, Tihuana, Zeze dicamargo e Luciano, Luiza Possi... oooh, the list can go on and on... :x But the ones that i hate the most are definitively Sandy e Junior... They are some kind of avril lavigne (by the way, i love avril.) wannabes. They are really lame. Stay away from their songs!!! Oh, almost forgot to say the other bands that i hate: Britney Spears :x Christina Aguillera :x :x Nelly :x :x :x simple plan :x :x :x :x

Well, never heard of this petition... :shrug: But since i live in a small town, this is totally comprehensible... Anyway, i hope this petition works... can't wait to see them. ;)
