i listen to a lot of Astor Piazzolla. he's this argentinan guy who did tango type stuff. i guess you could say that's pretty weird, since the only other person i've ever met who even knows who he is is my music theory professor, who got me into him. Philip Glass is another one... i don't really consider classical music "weird" :shrug:

i think i've moved beyond hating creed. i just find them hilarious. however i'm adding these bands to my list: The Strokes The White Stripes The Hives The Vines etc. who would have thought all you'd have to do to become famous and "change rock and roll" is rip off what the kinks and the stones were doing 30 years ago? hehe sorry i'm in a bad mood today for some reason. :twisted:

that's the reason i'm trying so hard to avoid downloading it. (not that it matters since i've heard almost all of them live anyway)

honestly, that Audioslave CD is one of the biggest musical disappointments i've ever encountered. i have no idea how members of two of the best bands of the 1990's could combine to make such terrible music, but they did. so yeah, i liked rage more too. :D

i don't listen to bands based on how many or how few fans they have, if that answers your question. (although, admittedly, most of what i listen to could fit under the broad "indie music" category)
