Collection of Coldplay E-zines
Hello, I found CP E-zines 1-18 (which I believe is all of them) and wanted to share them in case anyone wanted them. You can d/l them from the link below. Through rapidshare, it says it can only be d/l'd 10 times. So once it expires, feel free to add it back for anyone else who may want it! http://www.megaupload.com/?d=J8U2YL3E [thanks SueDeNimes] While searching for all the CP E-zines the other day (which I found on their "old" official site), it was interesting to see that pages from their "old" official site are still very much out there. Check 'em out! http://www.coldplay.com/fan/home.html (All of the subpages listed above are still active here, too!) http://www.coldplay.com/fan/profile.html (Check out how young they look here!) http://www.coldplay.com/html/ezine.shtml http://www.coldplay.com/fan/media.html

Don't Panic French single available
FYI, I just ordered the French single for Don't Panic that includes the OUI Acoustic version of Don't Panic from http://www.opalmusic.com/. I live in America and got the package in about a week from the UK. They do require you to order 20 GBP worth of merchandise to make an order. The price of the CD was 9.95 GBP but was a sealed copy. Just thought I'd pass along the word.

Which Don't Panic is more rare
I'm speaking strictly of the releases of the CD single for Don't Panic, not of the song appearing on other singles/EPs/albums, etc. The version on the Blue Room is different, I agree. You can be sure you have the right version if you own the actual Blue Room EP. What do you mean by not being sure if you have the real thing?

Which Don't Panic is more rare
Singles don't stay in production all that long. So they are all out of print at this point - not to say shops may not have sold out of them. But no more are being manufactured. I know the songs can be found in other live bootlegs, etc. I am just trying to get some of the actual CD singles and complete my collection of Coldplay CDs/EPs/singles, etc.

Which Don't Panic is more rare
Can you provide more detail/explanation as to why that is? So of the 5 different releases of the single, the order of rarity (from most rare to least rare) is: 1. French single (3-trk ft OUI acoustic and another song) 2. Danish single (4-trk Live in Denmark ft Shiver, Sparks, and Trouble) 3. Dutch single (4-trkLive in the Lowlands ft Spies, Yellow, & Bigger Stronger ) 4. Australian single (3-trk ft You Only Live Twice & Bigger Stronger) 5. Dutch single (2-trk ft You Only Live Twice)

Which Don't Panic is more rare
Is the Danish "Don't Panic" single with live tracks from Denmark more rare or is the French single with the OUI acoustic version of Don't Panic more rare? Thanks!

Coldplay B-Side B&I!
+The World Turned Upside Down -Crest Of Waves What is it about COW that is so appealing to people on here? I think the track is rather average.
-
Coldplay B-Side B&I!
And I shall cast my vote again: + Gravity - Crest Of Waves
-
Coldplay B-Side B&I!
Ah, you're right. Animals did get the axe. :( Looks like Only Superstition is out, too, by my unofficial count. Alas, my new vote: +Gravity -Crest Of Waves
-
Coldplay B-Side B&I!
I counted +3. Animals should not be on the eliminated list.

The Hardest Part B-Sides?
The Embrace quote came out of one of the recent Coldplay Ezines. They did an interview with him at the end talking about Gravity and what songs he heard from the X&Y sessions that he was surprised wouldn't make it. And I think you misunderstood -DAN-. I don't think he meant any kind of blend of the 2 songs (HYSTW and Solid Ground), rather he meant each song would be a b-side. I wouldn't think they'd put HYSTW on a future album since it's already been released once. It'll either stay as a Japanese only track or be added as a b-side, imo.

The Hardest Part B-Sides?
They'll probably release a couple of different singles like they did for Talk, In My Place, The Scientist, etc. They will come out with a 2-track single that features THP + a new b-side. Then about a month after that, they'll release another single that will have THP, the previous b-side, and a new b-side. I don't foresee the alt version of Talk. They didn't like it well enough to put on the album and they just released that as the last single. I see them as putting on THP (a radio/video version), Ladder To The Sun or Solid Ground, plus something new. I also don't really see a live track. They've put out numerous live tracks on the Talk dutch set already. UNLESS they give us a new song (non-album) that is live. But I don't recall hearing that they've played anything new on this tour. I thought they might put on HYSTW since the original version has yet to be available to anyone outside the Japanese market (unless you want to pay big dollars). But then I thought since they put an alternate version on the War Child album for charity that they probably won't go this route. I also don't see "In The Sun" since a) it's not their song and b) it was for charity too. Didn't the lead singer from Embrace say he was surprised to not see Solid Ground make the album? Could be foreshadowing... So again, I foresee. 1. THP (radio edit/video version) 2. Ladder To The Sun/Solid Ground 3. ?? something new

Thanks for scanning that article. Does anyone have the alternate version of Spies from the "You're Keeping Me Up All Night" EMI sampler listed in that discography? What's different about it? Thanks again!

I was at that Indianapolis show. Didn't know they were filming it. You sure they weren't just filming it for the big screen in the background?
