  1. Yeah I thought the exact same thing listening to it. Very similar. Not as good, but still a very strong song.
  2. MUCH thanks to Jizo! and JaySimo Oh my god I can't wait for it to complete downloading.
  3. PM(!) if it isn't too much trouble. Oh how it would make my night. Much thanks in advance.
  4. so... will you post it? EDIT: pretty, pretty please
  5. yeah I really don't see how you guys could think he's lying. if he did get it everyone would be like OMG YOU'RE A GOD. but the store realized they made a mistake and didn't sell it to him and then it just jumped to BOOURNS YOU SUCK. seriously... at least you tried pmartinez, and if somehow you do get it then I would have to fall back on the "OMG ur a god" one of those responses. edit: yeah basically already said in the time it took me to type this.
  6. The review really does seem to care more about criticizing the idea of the release rather than how good the content of may or may not have been. Like aw mann ANOTHER Neil Young album?! What's that? It's good? Ok but AGAIN WITH AN ALBUM?! Coldplay had just a few more songs than they desired to have on Viva la Vida, they are releasing a small EP for the fans. The same guy would have probably been going crazy if the original album was that many songs longer. But yeah... 6 out of 10 is still a pass, so...
  7. I think we see Guy and Jonny smoking in the Live 2003 video. But even then that was some time ago. Not sure about the other two.
  8. I find it funny that they made the whole final part of Violet Hill playable even though it's all piano. The songs are all great fun to play though with VH being the most since it has the most varying parts to it. GPASUYF is quite difficult because I'm sure they got the timing wrong for some of it (and the fist cymbal crash is strangely missing from the mix). There are so many more that would have been fantastic as well, even more so in Rock Band. (Shiver, Talk, Cemetries, White Shadows, In My Place, Square One)
  9. I think Shiver and Talk would have been great as well, but considering GH track packs are always 3 songs, this is still very nice indeed.
  10. I think it was the Stereogum review (which was surprisingly a positive one) that I first saw point out the "Rising Sun" thing and they were right on. But in terms of In Rainbows, the closest I can hear "Cemetries" sounding like is maybe "15 Step" for the main chunk (handcaps and all that) or "Bodysnatchers" (for the 2-minute mark onwards in COL).
  11. What I meant before was that I would like the "with" between the two titles to make it sound more like an instruction. Like to have '[Long Live Life] With Death And All His Friends' as an almost ironic and cryptic statement or slogan for life that the album would be soundtrack to or a mindset to listening to the album with. I'd say all the other titles have had this kind of feel of letting the title of the album be a thought of what the music should be for the listener: Parachutes: Things (or music) to save one from an otherwise dangerous freefall. AROBTTH: Self-explanatory, really. X & Y: Variables (or songs) that make up or complete the unexplained and fit into everything around us. Going too deep? Maybe, but still fun to write up and attempt to explain.
  12. I think it would be cooler if it were 'Viva la Vida with Death And All His Friends' But I don't dislike how it is now.
  13. You must be joking... Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers Nine Inch Nails Jay-Z The Flaming Lips Interpol Death Cab For Cutie The Tragically Hip Serj Tankian My Morning Jacket Metric Sam Roberts Band Vampire Weekend MGMT Sia No? Nothing there?
