  2. I only got one email from them, and it said "If you have a suitable creation which you'd to like to be the very first Exhibit in the The Exhibition Room - even if it's just a really nice picture you took on holiday - then email it to [email protected] before 11:59pm (GMT) on Wednesday November 4th. Pictures should be landscape-shaped and no bigger than 2MB. Videos (max 5 minutes long) should be sent in the form of a YouTube url." It was sent at 3:24am California time, so I wonder if they had different emails sent out.
  3. Who me?
  4. Oh, my gosh! Did you hear? Chris and Gwyneth's marriage is in trouble! :dozey:
  5. Aww, Erick - I know...I tried winning tickets for Stripped, too, but I wouldn't have been able to get to both concerts that night, unless I was on their helicopter.:laugh3:
  6. He was fine, this was before he was sick in August. We saw their whole concert in Irvine just a couple of hours after they did Stripped, and he sounded and looked amazing. He was probably a bit tired, because they did the Home Depot concert the night before. Plus, it was not their own equipment they were using, according to Roadie 42 - so I think they did a great job with unfamiliar instruments...look how awesome Will was on the water bottle :D
  7. I'm sorry, I don't know how. I can do some things but this online in a way that I don't know how to do it...I'm sure someone out there will be able to figure it out. I don't know why users outside the US can't access it :(
  8. Yep, this is the private concert they did in July at Capital Records for about 100 people. I was starting to think Star 98.7 had forgotten about it.
  9. FINALLY! I've been emailing Star98.7 weekly for the last 3 months asking when they were going to post this. Thanks so much for posting the link. This is the concert Roadie 42 mentions in Blog 91 http://www.coldplay.com/post_listroadie42.php and posted his own video of some of it. One of my favorite videos of his - kind of cool to see the band flyng from the LA (where I used to live) and Orange County (where I now live). Although I'm still annoyed by this whole Stripped thing. I'd won a meet and greet with the band from another radio station last March before their Irvine show in July. Two weeks before the concert, Capital Records and Star 98.7 scheduled this Stripped concert, for the same day as the concert - at 5 freaking pm. In Hollywood, no less, which is about 50 miles from Irvine. Stripped started late, ran late, and so the band was late getting to Irvine by helicopter, and the meet and greet I'd waited 4 months for was cut way short. Yes, I still got to talk to Will and Chris very briefly, and Chris even apologized to my husband and me for being so late.
  10. Nice nose, nice eyes, nice smile, nice shoulders, nice legs, oh, someone stop me...
  11. I know I sure was! Wish there was some news or something about him :( The other boys are out and about, and Will's laying low.
  12. she looks *really* happy. :laugh3:
  13. These days, facebook is more fun anyway...now that there aren't any concerts, rehashing old news just gets, well, old... I didn't look at any of the other categories - someone mentioned it on the Will thread, and that's the only way I knew... I totally get the scarey people, too...WTF is right. We just got back from a day at Disney's California Adventure, then went across the courtyard to Disneyland to get our pics taken for our passes - it was insanely crowded, and I don't know why. We used to have annual passes, but they expired a few years ago, and we just decided to get them again. We only live about 20 miles from Disneyland. I'm exhausted - 8am soccer game and we had to be there at 7:15am, then Disney...time for bed.
  14. Ha ha ha ha...I've been away for awhile - I've been sick...so I came back on to check my Will thread, to find out that I've made the shortlist for Biggest Will Fan...ha ha ha, that's hilarious...of course I am the biggest Will fan! Good God, I had a dream about him the other night - my poor husband, lol. So go vote for me, if you're so inclined. Um, how to get there? I don't have a link, but it's in the General Discussion Area...
  15. What? Biggest Will Fan? I've been really sick the last week or so, so I haven't been on for awhile...what's going on? I'm bummed I'm not going to the Bridge concert or U2 at the Rose Bowl this weekend :( But my daughter has 2 huge soccer games Saturday and Sunday. And these latest Will picspams are awesome...makes me miss him and any new news...
  16. I don't know...now I'm toying with Guadalajara - flights are dirt cheap, nonstop from Los Angeles. And you're only going to the show on Sunday?
  17. I'm sorry about the hubby Marcia. I've been married almost 21 years and we've definitely had our ups and downs. I hope things get better for you.
  18. Yeah, but remember I'm in California - I can go to Guadalajara and back in 2 days, and we have 3 kids at home to have to arrange someone to come stay with them, etc, so it's not just money that's going to factor into it, but time. Guad. is a 3 hour non-stop flight, Rio is between 16-22 hours flight time/connections. And I'm not necessarily talking about a budget trip, just that airfare to Guad. is dirt cheap. And we were thisclose to seeing them in Tokyo in February :( We had a connection through Tokyo on our way home from Bangkok on the first day of Saitama. We looked into changing our flights and layover time, but we would have needed more than 24 hours layover, and United counts that as a separate flight. They wanted an additional $700/person to change our flight. But how amazing would that have been to have seen them in Japan? Nothing is definite, just looking at some options. Let's just hope they reschedule Tampa soon :)
  19. Ohhh, baby....Chris in a vest and tie...he's smokin hot. But I hate his hair that short. I like it short, but what is he doing? Going for the Will-look? Gah, now I want to go to Bridge...but I'm trying to win U2 tickets, it's the same day. All the radio stations are giving away U2 tix this weekend...
  20. Presale tickets went on sale today for some of the shows, to certain people, Banamex cardholders in Mexico I think, and Citi cardholders in Argentina. I hadn't been following too closely because I'd pretty much decided I wasn't going to go. Just for the hell of it, I did check airfare from LAX to Guadalajara and it is only $256, nonstop, roundtrip! And it's only a 3 hour flight. I had pretty much decided it was a no go, but was talking with my husband tonight, and he actually said that Mexico City is more interesting and maybe we should go there! He spent a summer in Mexico City when he was in college. Nonstops from LAX to Mexico City are only $333 and it's a 3.5 hour flight. So now I don't know what to do - push him more on it? Would that not be amazing? So Monterrey *looks* closer to the US and is closer to the border, but is harder to get to, with no non-stop flights. Of course, I'd only want the front of the pit - I haven't even looked at seating charts or anything, I don't know if i should get excited about this or push him more.
  21. So where'd everyone go??? I get horribly sick for a week, and don't post much, and you all disappear? I'm feeling much better now and my glass of Chardonnay tonight attests to that. We're up to 37 on the facebook group, Tracey wants to get up to 42 :D Hell yeah, at least 42! Tickets are on sale now for some of the Latin America shows, unfortunately, they're ridiculously expensive...that sucks for those fans. Seriously, I don't know if I'd want to pay $200 for a standing ticket, either...I was bitching about $104 for my Tampa ticket! But now, I supposed I'd pay about anything to see them in Tampa again, lol.
