  1. I'm so excited for the Irvine show. My husband, well, not so much, so I think I'll take my 13 year old son one night and my husband the other. This will be my son's first concert, if you don't count High School Musical Live. He'll get a chance to see his "real" mom, lol And if I take him to Irvine, he won't mind getting there really early. I just hope I can get great seats for Irvine. My seats for Carson are ok, Sec. E2 on the field, row 19. Too bad I didn't know about the GA then. oh well...I keep checking for presale info, too, but nothing yet.
  2. Clocks, The Scientist, Fix You, Glass of Water, Cemetaries of London, Trouble...These songs make me stop what I'm doing and take deep breaths...just something about them that touches my soul.
  3. Looks like there's been a change of plans. Now http://www.coldplay.com AND http://www.livenation.com both say the concert is July 19 now, and not July 15. Makes more sense to have it the 19th, since it's only 20 miles from the Home Depot Centre...not as far to travel. Either way, I'm so there. Wonder if there will be a presale, too.
  4. Simple...go to the show in Irvine, then drive down to Chula Vista afterward. Should be less than an hour drive that late at night. Sleep in on Thursday and enjoy the day in San Diego, then see the show again that night...Wish I was going to Chula Vista, too.
  5. YES! YES! YES! Another show only 10 minutes from my house :-) :-) :-) Has anyone heard anything about a presale yet? And I love the Verizon amphitheater.
  6. DAAHF... No I don't want to battle from beginning to end I don't want to cycle, recycle revenge I don't want to follow death and all of his friends And in the end we lie awake and we dream of making our escape
  7. Has Will always had that tattoo on the inside of his arm? Anyone know what it is?
  8. My hard tickets came in the mail today - section E2. Now I just need to wait four and a half months.
  9. In My Place No reason, just stuck in my head today.
  10. X & Y.... Trying hard to speak and Fighting with my weak hand Driven to distraction So part of the plan When something is broken And you try to fix it Trying to repair it Any way you can Exactly the way I'm feeling today
  11. Glass of Water...I'm feeling my glass is half empty today :-/
  12. Man, if it doesn't show in the US, I'll be twice as bummed. My husband and I actually were in Tokyo on Feb. 11, we had a layover on our flight from Bangkok to Los Angeles. You have NO idea how tempted I was to change our return trip to allow the overnight in Tokyo! I blame it on United Airlines, and the $600 per person extra they would have charged us change our flight to stay overnight in Tokyo.
  13. Ok, so I'm glad to see I'm not the oldest one here. I'm 43, married 20 years, 4 kids, and I can't get enough Coldplay. My kids and husband think I've lost it. lol Yes, I think they're cute and all, but their music touches me in a way that I can't explain, but I know other Coldplay fans will understand. Even though this is Chris's thread, I'm partial to Will :-)
  14. Home Depot center seats 27,000, and that doesn't include the field level seats. I found interactive photos of the venue at http://www.homedepotcenter.com/venues_soccerseating_int.php. While it doesn't help much with the field level/floor seats, you can get an idea of how big this place is. You can type in the location for the side seats (100, 200 levels, etc). How are they going to do the balls without rafters? Definitely will be a different experience from the Forum and Honda Center.
  15. So i didn't know what GA meant, and I didn't want to chance getting in the back. I'm happy with my E2 seats. I had two computers going with 2 different accounts, but ended up getting the first tickets that came up. HD center is big, I've been there for Galaxy games, so I'm just happy I'm not too far back on the floor.
  16. Hamsterdam, If I could, I would have gone to multiple cities, too. But with 4 kids and a husband who travels a bit for work, it's just not possible. My husband and I have a trip planned to Asia in Feb 2009 for our 20th anniversary. Our return is from Tokyo on Feb 10 - can't tell you how tempted I am to push back our trip by 2 days to see them in Tokyo on Feb 12.
  17. Thanks everyone for posting the pictures and videos. We were in Sec. 208, Row S. Way better seats than the sucky seats we had at the Forum, July 14. It was kind of funny. I was with my husband, and sat next to a teenage boy who was there with his mom. We were talking about the Forum show, and how we could see the equipment better than before. When Blue Danube started, I knew they would be on next. The boy next to me asked if I knew what was going on down there in the first few rows. Then he made some comment about me knowing so much about them. I guess the funny part is, here I am, a 43 year old mom, who has almost stalkerish knowledge about the band.

YES! They're doing Swallowed in the Sea instead of the Hardest Part. :D

I think it has more to do with the mixing of the feed than the crowd. I'll find out about the crowd tomorrow night when I'M THERE with my 12 yo son... I'm so excited I can't stand it. I'll help him remember the words tomorrow, too.
