  1. They did the butterflies and yellow balloons at the arena and amphitheatre concerts, which usually held 10-15,000 or so. I really liked the magic ball effects when they were able to use the arena rafters to spread out the balls more - the balls were much more mobile in the arena shows I saw. When I think of a stadium, I think of an American football sized stadium, 50-60,000+. Wembley held 80,000ish?
  2. Good lord, me too...oh that tummy...I gotta stop watching that. :o
  3. I always thought that would be so surreal - to see your husband or father in front of thousands of adoring fans like that. He's just daddy to the kids...
  4. Well, Gwyneth is set to start working on a new movie, The Danish Girl with Nicole Kidman, in January - maybe they're running with that in yet another attempt to predict the breakup of C&G.
  5. At the far left of the video at 0:04 and again at 0:07, there is a woman who looks a lot like Debs...that's pretty close to "next to"
  6. Eh, not really - just not worth getting into it. You all can have your fun.
  7. Full of new ideas buzzing around...
  8. At least we know he's still alive - that's the first mention of him in weeks!
  9. Saw this... http://taryncoxthewife.blogspot.com/
  10. Ack! If his hair is this short now, just think how short it was 3 weeks ago at the Bridge Benefit, when he said he was wearing the hat to cover up an unfortunate hair cut. He must have been bald! Going for the Will-look :wacky: Will's the only one who can carry off the #2 comb on his clippers.
  11. I knit. I've always wanted to give him a man-scarf. I chickened out at the meet and greet.
  12. It's mostly an East Coast thing - I've never seen that in California. My friend in Massachusetts talks about fluffernutter.
  13. All of the videos, songs and little interview questions, are online here now. http://www.iheartradio.com/mediaplayer/?station=IHM-IP&action=stripped&item=8953037
  14. The Oracle said the Curator was taking weekends off. It's only been two day-b patient grasshopper.
  15. Their continuous use of code names is getting funny - Anchorman, Roadie 42, The Oracle, Prospekt, and now the Curator. Sounds like they've been watching too many spy movies.
  16. The page is ready now. Here's the link. http://www.coldplay.com/exhibitionroom_submitimage.php
  17. The email I got said "The best creation submitted by 11.59pm on November 4th will be picked as the launch Exhibit. After that, all other Exhibits will come via the Exhibition Room upload form on Coldplay.com. If the creation you email to [email protected] isn't picked as the launch item, then please feel free to upload it via Coldplay.com once the Exhibition Room has launched." So to me, that means they discarded everything that was sent in, except for the winner, Bulb, and to be considered for the daily Exhibit, you need to submit again.
  18. Uh, no, it's a .unzip file. :laugh3:
  19. I just submitted something...by highlighting, even though it didn't look totally "up" yet...wonder if it will go though. I called it The Saddest Day, and it was my pic of the flashing sign at Ford Amphitheatre on that sad, sad day in August, that said "Colplay Show Postponed." Yes, Colplay, they couldn't even spell it right...
  20. Moses is tall like his daddy. So cute. They look adorable in their school uniforms.
  21. Ha ha ha...so I was listening to Star 98.7, it's a local radio station for me, and Kennedy in the morning is the drive time dj. She was doing a promo this morning for the Stripped performance, telling people to go online to see it. But her words were "Coldplay gave a mesmerizing performance and Chris Martin is a turtle and really came out of his shell." Bahaha...don't know if I've ever heard Chris called a TURTLE before!
  22. I don't think Bono doing the shout out means anything other that basically showing a tribute to Chris, and acknowledging his presence at the show. It's not uncommon for artists to do that, Chris did it at the Grammy's during Viva when he sang "working on a dream, though sometimes it feels so far away" from Bruce Springsteen's "Working on a Dream."
  23. Of course he could cheat if he wanted to. But Chris is such a private person when it comes to his personal life. It's ridiculous think he would publicly behave in such a way that would humiliate Gwyneth and his family, especially since he guards his family's privacy so fiercely. If he were going to cheat, it certainly wouldn't be in front of 70,000 people, their cameras and Bono!
  24. Oooohhh, I love that! And it has a butterfly! Very cool...
