It did go fast. I was at the very first US show on July 14, 2008. The last shows I was at were exactly 2 months ago, July 18 and 19. Then I wanted so badly to see them at the last US show in Tampa. If they'd announced officially that it was cancelled sooner, I probably would have found a way to get to Wembley, once I knew for sure that Tampa was cancelled and not just postponed. :cry: But it was an amazing tour and I'm glad I got to see them 4 times. And I'm planning on seeing Chris next month.

It was a fun day, even though it was 100 degrees (40C) and 99% humidity. I met up with Iriden (Denise), her friend from Italy, and kspillers2 (Kelly).

They range from $39 for lawn to $150. Then I'm sure there will be VIP available for a high price or auction. It is a benefit, and may be tax deductilble - that's the angle I'll take with my husband. lol I actually like the whole line up on Saturday - Sheryl Crow, No Doubt, Jimmy Buffett and of course our man. Flights from here are cheap, $98rt. And my best friend lives up there, so I won't need a hotel. It's kind of a no-brainer for me. Now to convince my husband. If you're serious about coming, Kayleigh, there are 3 airports you can fly into. San Jose is the closest, but San Francisco and even Oakland are within 30 miles.

I did go to the Tampa show - well, I went to Tampa. I'd gone to the first US show of the tour in Los Angeles July 14, 2008, and after I saw them twice this past July (and won a meet and greet - which was amazing), I decided I needed to see them again. So I flew from California to Tampa. When I landed in Atlanta for my connection and turned on my phone, I had texts and tweets about the "postponement." They announced it during my flight. I had to go to Tampa anyway, couldn't change my flights and had prepaid my hotel. I met up with some other Coldplayers who were also stuck in Tampa and we hung out and commiserated that day.

Exactly 2 months for me, I saw them July 18 and July 19...and was supposed to see them August 9. :cry:

I'm shocked! I just got an email from livenation telling me that my refund has been processed. Yeah, well, I knew that was coming. What is surprising me is that they are REFUNDING the $22 they automatically charged me to fed-ex my ticket to me! I thought I'd have to eat that, especially because there was no other delivery option given to me - no e-ticket, no will call. So my pit ticket refund came to $156.41. Of course, I would have gladly paid that to see the boys. :( But this is enough to get the expensive seats to the Bridges Benefit next month.
