  1. Aww, you guys are so sweet, throwing me an online birthday party :P I really really wanted to be in London for my birthday, but it just couldn't happen, so being here is the next best thing. :pleased:
  2. Those CP'ers did their detective work (Jay Z, Roundhouse in Camden, hmmm), and it paid off...so happy (and jealous) for them!
  3. Just woke up in California - it's 6:30am. I downloaded a record program for my mac, and recorded BBC1 all night, but it's crappy quality. Then I found the link at BBC1's website, thank goodness. And I just read a post where someone's going to upload it. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I've read some of the comments of those who listened live - it sounds awesome.
  4. It's 11pm in California, which means it's 7am in London...anyone in the queue yet?
  5. Wait...are you in London or are you talking about going to the Bridge Benefit?
  6. They're still hungover from too many Guinesses in Dublin, so they can't pose as long without having to lie down.
  7. Yeah Lore, you need your turn with the boys :)
  8. You mean like those puppets? They should be concerned about the 20,000 real people who were affected instead of worrying so much about those damn puppets!
  9. Ha ha, I emailed her a Chrissy picspam from my Irvine pics before she left. Her reaction was priceless. They're all here :laugh3:
  10. @Yangarin. Marcia, You rock! Thank you so much for the DVD. Just in time for my birthday tomorrow :).
  11. Got a text from Tracey. She was on the runway ready to take off. Nick Faldo the golfer is on her flight. Her flight left at 5:30 pm.
  12. She needs to give the coldplayers a yellow balloon, so we can see them when the camera pans the crowd.
  13. I guess there are penguins living in modern Britain, then. And not just in the zoos.
  14. Can web users control the camera? There are some webcams that can be moved by viewers.
  15. The penguin lady is annoying...what are her prizes? lol
  16. There were last minute pit tickets released for Tampa. And days before the show, there were just a random handful of seats available - and you really had to click around the livenation seat map to find those. A lot of people were really upset that they had bought crappy seats the day tix went on sale, then much better seats were released in the days and weeks just before the show. Tracey, I'm talking to you ;) I remember checking the seating chart almost daily to see how full the pit would be, and the seating dots slowly disappeared, until the 1400 ticket pit was completely sold out.
  17. For a general idea of concerts and revenue, go to the wikipedia link below, there is box office data for 77 of the concerts they have performed on the VLV tour. The bottom line statistic is: TOTAL 77 / 44 1,173,310 / 1,308,920 (90%) $82,490,811 This means that 44 out of 77 shows were completely sold out. Out of 1,308, 310 tickets available, 1,173, 310 were sold for an overall ticket sale percentage of 90%. (and these numbers include a couple of shows that were only 55-65% sold out - you can see the list at the link below - Reggie, Wheatland was 73% sold out) Gross is $82,490,811 Obviously, this is just a partial list, but gives an idea of the kind of revenue that is being generated by Coldplay. The list only includes one of the European shows on any of the legs, so none of the massive stadium shows. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Viva_la_Vida_Tour#Box_office_score_data
  18. The band does meet and greets during the opening band's performances. I don't think they go off and do their pre-gig thing until maybe 30 minutes before they go on...so you never know... Can't wait to hear from you if you have the chance while you're there! Bon Voyage!
